Giving an understanding nod to both Kivuli and Mila as the lovey dovey pair made their way out of the main den, Nala turned her attention back to Taraji now, who seemed to have finished her meal. Leaning in, Nala carefully cleaned away any of the remaining excess milk from both Taraji’s muzzle, as well as her own belly before the cream colored queen rose to her paws and spoke in a gentle tone to the crystal eyed cub.
”Well, I wonder where your mommy and daddy went off to Taraji. Well, while you’re here, how about you lend me a paw with getting this den ready for tonight’s meeting.”
Making her way towards the back of the den, Nala retrieved all of the spare sleeping pelts that were typically kept near the back of the den, only used during special occasions. Dragging the pile of soft pelts over to where Taraji was, Nala easily stripped off the top pelt, placing it lightly over Taraji’s back, so that only her cute little head was poking out from the end of it as Nala spoke in an amused tone.
”It’s a bit big for you, huh Taraji? Well, come on this way.” Nala stated, motioning a paw towards the spot she hoped Taraji could drag the pelt over to.
Knowing that this would give Taraji a bit of exercise, while taking her mind off of everything else, Nala started to arrange the rest of the sleeping pelts in an orderly fashion, humming quietly to herself as she worked and waited for Taraji to let her know that her job was done too.

Simba chuckled from hearing Jamelia’s stomach rumbling as he replied in a lighthearted manner.
”Sounds like your belly is happy to be here too Jamelia. I know that there is some tasty wildebeest up here at the main den and you’re more than welcome to have your fill of it.”
Upon arriving at Pride Rock now, Simba took a quick glance around to see just who was about. Spotting both Kivuli and Mila, as well as Caine and Shani, both to whom were wrapped up in each others company for the time being, Simba took the liberty of introducing everyone to Jamelia on their behalf, as not to interrupt what they were doing.
”That large male with the grey fur, standing next to the younger lioness with golden fur and the long tail, that is Kivuli and the lioness is Mila, who is my adopted daughter, although me and my mate consider her to be our own, despite the differences in the gene pool. The two males you see there, atop the promontory of the structure you see before you, which is Pride Rock, are Caine and Shani, Caine being the bigger of the two.”
Motioning a paw for Jamelia to follow him, Simba started up the path leading to the main den, giving a quick nod towards the two wildebeest that he had mentioned previously, just so Jamelia would know what he was talking about. Upon entering the main den, Simba spotted his mate and Taraji, who both seemed to be hard at work with prepping the main den for the upcoming meeting. Letting out a low cough to make his presence known, Simba politely introduced Jamelia to his beloved mate and Taraji.
”Love, this is Jamelia. I found her in our lands while I was out looking for Rahina, to whom I wasn’t able to locate sadly, but I’m sure Rahina is fine on her own and will come back when she’s good and ready to.”
Dropping the pelt that she had in her muzzle, Nala smiled warmly towards Jamelia as she formally greeted the younger lioness in a caring voice.
”Hello there Jamelia. It’s so nice to meet you. My name is Nala and I am Simba’s mate. I assume from my mate bringing you here, that you will be staying with us for a bit?”

Kopa had spent the last few hours, melding over his thoughts and what exactly he was going to do. Being alone in his and Rahina’s den, his thoughts drove him to the point of uncertainty and if it hadn’t been for a small, faint voice reaching his ears, the frustrated male might have done something that would have most likely came back to bite him later. Fortunately for Kopa, his attention was detoured by a not so far off voice that sounded like it was calling for help. Rising to his paws, Kopa poked his head out from the quaint den, looking about The Private Waterhole as he noticed Santiago and Vitani, who seemed too lost in each others presence to notice the call of distress, as he had.
Listening again, hoping to hear the voice so he could pin point the location to where this creature might be, Kopa emerged from the den, his ears perked as he followed the sound, hoping to at least find who was in trouble. It didn’t take him very long as he circled around to the far end of the waterhole before his eyes spotted the source of the noise. Approaching slowly, keeping as friendly of a look upon his muzzle as he could, Kopa spoke in a concerned voice to the young male cub.
”Excuse me, but are you alright?”
