As the pair looked into each others eyes, they became transfixed by one another. Kivuli took it upon himself and moved in to cuddle Mila. His strong built body snuggled into her side as one of his forepaws wrapped round her, holding her close to him. Kivuli enjoyed this moment or a good few minutes before saying Your father has organised a pride meeting this evening. I think everyone will be here. I know I will Kivuli licked Mila's cheek and gave another loving nuzzle

Taraji first was too afraid to come out of her hiding but Nalas calm voice and the fact that she still was hungry lured her out and into the vision of Mila and Kivuli. However she was to shy to look at them but rushed to the tuds of Nala and started drinking again with her eyes closed hard. The very faint sound of her suckeling was only accompanied by a nervous purr from the cub.

Rahina meanwhile has reached the borders of the prideland. It was still way to go to pride rock but she did not head that way anyways. Again she stood still and just looked at a small hill directly between the two lands still on the outland side. This has been the hill where her mother was found dead. Rahina did not know why her mother was killed and even less that Kopa had to do with the scene back then. She only knew that her mother and her brother had been found dead here and roumors had spread under the paw that Zira had killed them. Officially the pride landers had been blamed for the death. Rahinas father had sworn revange on the pride landers back then. Rahina did not want to think about her father. Even if he was the last relative she had and she did not know if he was alive or dead she hated him. Not only had he been unable to save her mother and brother but also he had made her cubhood into a hell. He ever had been fanatically following Zira and used drill and brutal methods to train Rahina. This sure was one reason Rahina had been tough from her cubhood on and this probably saved her back against the hyenas but Rahina still remembered the times she had cried herself into sleep with cutmarks on her back and legs and her bones beaten down by her father. The times in the jungle with the other cubs, even if they haven't really liked Rahina either, had been much nicer.

Rahinas mind went back to Kopa. She did not want to but she remembered all the nice times with him. How they met, how she showed him around her land, how she hunted for him and his loving glimmering eyes when she came back. How soft and caring he had carressed her at night, how warm his body had been and even the first time they got together in her first heat.

Rahina chuckled even if her heart was full of sadness as she remembered how she had taught him how to clean himself on the first day they met. Rahina wished she could turn back the time and they were back in the jungle. She would have been overjoyed to tell him about the cub there and would not have to worry about anything.
If it hadn't been for Jelani and his friends they would still have been there. Rahina just had found out about her pregnacy the day before and wanted to tell Kopa but then the attack of the rogues washed away all thoughts about telling him. He had to worry about enough and he was so easy to worry. He was worried about her at this second as well she bet but still she felt unable to face him now.

Rahina knew she had hurt him bad and she did not know how to make up or even explain him why she had reacted like that. On the one hand she did not even know herself and also she did not want to tell him about the cub to come at this critical time either.

Mila found herself lost in Kivuli's eyes when suddenly, he broke the trance she was in by taking her and holding her close, cuddling with her.
Mila wasn't sure what to do. On one paw, she did like Kivuli and she did enjoy his warmth, care and presence. But on the other paw, she wasn't sure how to react. She didn't want to rush into anything and be foolish. But so much of her wanted to at the same time.

Unable to make up her mind on how to react, she just accepted Kivuli's embrace and did nothing, enjoying the obvious care that Kivuli was giving the lucky lioness. Kivuli then spoke about her father and that he had called a meeting which would take place later.

"Well, then I guess I'm there too.. I'm pretty sure that everyone includes me." Mila said playfully, adding a giggle to the end to indicate her obvious sarcasm.

Mila accepted Kivuli's tender lick and nuzzle. His actions triggered Mila to emit a small purr which showed her content. Although she liked her position, it was becoming a bit awkward and she gently pushed Kivuli away before walking around a bit and calling out to Kivuli.

"Well, before the day is over, what do you say we go for a walk?" Mila asked, with her instinctive smile that she knew always made others smile back. She wished to go outside and get some fresh air and catch up on things around. Or just walk around with Kivuli..... either way worked for her.

With a charming smile and an amazing gaze, how could Kivuli resist an offer. It was clear Mila was to sure about Kivuli getting as close as he did, so he knew to not take it so far next time. Kivuli smiled back at Mila. He stood up, shaking his body to release the dust from his fur before walking over and joining Mila. As he was leaving the den Kivuli turn round to Nala We are just going for a walk, we will be back in time for the meeting. Take care Nala

As Mila and Kivuli left the den, and earshot of anyone else, Kivuli asked So where is it you wanted to go? For a drink? Or did you have a certain place planned? Yet again Kivuli found himself waiting on the female response. That didn't matter too much though. The way Kivuli saw it, the longer it took for a reply, the more time they had together

Ashur wandered into the Pride lands. After being mauled by Dark, he was exauseted. He limped by a pool, until he could walk no more. Ashur was a 6 year old cub, who had lost his parents, because of one lion that had put a curse on them. He had tried to fight his enemy, for making his parents betray him. It didn't work. For Ashur was too weak. Help... Ashur tried to call out. His voice was weak. He lay down, waiting for help, doubting that it would ever come to him.

"What you say sounds very wonderful. I can tell that even before I meet your pride, that I will live a happy life here." A low grumble escaped from Jamelia's empty stomach. "And my stomach agrees with me!" In the savannah, you eat every two-three days...that is....if the king and queen don't stuff themselves to death. There wasn't much to drink, either. In the waterhole, the water was dirty and mirky; lions and other animals usually had that nasty taste of crunchy dried up mud afterwards.

Mila strutted outside the den after breaking free of the embrace Kivuli had given her. She was shortly followed by the male afterward and she was faced with a question that was asked by him.

After a bit of thought, Mila responded to the grey furred male by saying that "I hadn't thought about it. I just wanted to escape the confides of the den and get some fresh air, being the sleepy head I am I guess there is only limited time for it before we have to go back for the meeting." Mila hadn't really thought about where they would go. They could go to a variety of places all around the pridelands, or even farther if they so desired. Not being one to come up with ideas quickly, the female put the burden of deciding where to go onto the male, seemingly carefree of where he decided to go. It didn't matter too much to her.

"How about you decide where to go? Where ever is fine with me, as long as it's not outside of the Pridelands. A girl can only be so daring the day after she gets attacked, even with a strong lion by her side." Upon saying this, Mila let a small girlish giggle escape her muzzle.. her own comments even made her laugh.

Mila was in quite the good mood. While she waited for Kivuli to think about their destination, Mila turned her head away from Pride Rock and into the lands, taking in the picturesque scene that was seen from the promontory of Pride Rock every day around this time. It always amazed her the beauty of the lands and she became engulfed in the sheer beauty of the scene, tranced in it as she waited for Kivuli to speak.

Giving an understanding nod to both Kivuli and Mila as the lovey dovey pair made their way out of the main den, Nala turned her attention back to Taraji now, who seemed to have finished her meal. Leaning in, Nala carefully cleaned away any of the remaining excess milk from both Taraji’s muzzle, as well as her own belly before the cream colored queen rose to her paws and spoke in a gentle tone to the crystal eyed cub.

”Well, I wonder where your mommy and daddy went off to Taraji. Well, while you’re here, how about you lend me a paw with getting this den ready for tonight’s meeting.”

Making her way towards the back of the den, Nala retrieved all of the spare sleeping pelts that were typically kept near the back of the den, only used during special occasions. Dragging the pile of soft pelts over to where Taraji was, Nala easily stripped off the top pelt, placing it lightly over Taraji’s back, so that only her cute little head was poking out from the end of it as Nala spoke in an amused tone.

”It’s a bit big for you, huh Taraji? Well, come on this way.” Nala stated, motioning a paw towards the spot she hoped Taraji could drag the pelt over to.

Knowing that this would give Taraji a bit of exercise, while taking her mind off of everything else, Nala started to arrange the rest of the sleeping pelts in an orderly fashion, humming quietly to herself as she worked and waited for Taraji to let her know that her job was done too.

Simba chuckled from hearing Jamelia’s stomach rumbling as he replied in a lighthearted manner.

”Sounds like your belly is happy to be here too Jamelia. I know that there is some tasty wildebeest up here at the main den and you’re more than welcome to have your fill of it.”

Upon arriving at Pride Rock now, Simba took a quick glance around to see just who was about. Spotting both Kivuli and Mila, as well as Caine and Shani, both to whom were wrapped up in each others company for the time being, Simba took the liberty of introducing everyone to Jamelia on their behalf, as not to interrupt what they were doing.

”That large male with the grey fur, standing next to the younger lioness with golden fur and the long tail, that is Kivuli and the lioness is Mila, who is my adopted daughter, although me and my mate consider her to be our own, despite the differences in the gene pool. The two males you see there, atop the promontory of the structure you see before you, which is Pride Rock, are Caine and Shani, Caine being the bigger of the two.”

Motioning a paw for Jamelia to follow him, Simba started up the path leading to the main den, giving a quick nod towards the two wildebeest that he had mentioned previously, just so Jamelia would know what he was talking about. Upon entering the main den, Simba spotted his mate and Taraji, who both seemed to be hard at work with prepping the main den for the upcoming meeting. Letting out a low cough to make his presence known, Simba politely introduced Jamelia to his beloved mate and Taraji.

”Love, this is Jamelia. I found her in our lands while I was out looking for Rahina, to whom I wasn’t able to locate sadly, but I’m sure Rahina is fine on her own and will come back when she’s good and ready to.”

Dropping the pelt that she had in her muzzle, Nala smiled warmly towards Jamelia as she formally greeted the younger lioness in a caring voice.

”Hello there Jamelia. It’s so nice to meet you. My name is Nala and I am Simba’s mate. I assume from my mate bringing you here, that you will be staying with us for a bit?”

==========

Kopa had spent the last few hours, melding over his thoughts and what exactly he was going to do. Being alone in his and Rahina’s den, his thoughts drove him to the point of uncertainty and if it hadn’t been for a small, faint voice reaching his ears, the frustrated male might have done something that would have most likely came back to bite him later. Fortunately for Kopa, his attention was detoured by a not so far off voice that sounded like it was calling for help. Rising to his paws, Kopa poked his head out from the quaint den, looking about The Private Waterhole as he noticed Santiago and Vitani, who seemed too lost in each others presence to notice the call of distress, as he had.

Listening again, hoping to hear the voice so he could pin point the location to where this creature might be, Kopa emerged from the den, his ears perked as he followed the sound, hoping to at least find who was in trouble. It didn’t take him very long as he circled around to the far end of the waterhole before his eyes spotted the source of the noise. Approaching slowly, keeping as friendly of a look upon his muzzle as he could, Kopa spoke in a concerned voice to the young male cub.

”Excuse me, but are you alright?”

Kivuli thought for a moment where he and Mila should go. As he did, his red eyes scanned round the area to look for something of interest. Kivuli's eyes caught sight of Simba, who looked briefly towards them and then came up to Priderock. Kivuli had an idea Look your father is coming He indicated with his paw Why don't we go meet him? I'm sure he will be glad to see you back on your feet Kivuli waited for Mila's response as the golden king made his way up to the den entrance

Ashur looked up, startled at the lion. Examined him, noticing he was safe, Ashur answered. No.. I'm not. Ashur answered weakly. For who was this lion? He looked very nice. Ignoring the stabbing pain in his leg, Ashur stood up. He looked carefully at the lion again. Ashur noticed his shoulders had gone stiff. He relaxed them, and sat down carefully, as to not disturb his leg. Uhm.. Ashur was too scared to say anything else, but he did. Not to be rude either... but who are you? Ashur questioned the lion.
