Delano saw Muroki leap at the gazelle, and gratefully slowed down, now that his part was over. However, when Muroki wasn't able to catch it, Delano knew that he had to run again. Once again sprinting, he tore after their prey.

Only because Muroki slowed it down that Delano was able to catch up and leap onto the gazelle. He held on firmly until the animal gave away, and the tow of them dropped to the ground. Unable to top his fall, Delano held onto the gazelle and the two of them rolled over the ground, eventually stopping, with Delano still somehow holding onto their prey. He lay there, waiting for Muroki, letting the world return from its spin.

Umeme grinned, slightly embarrassed. "Yeah," she said softly. "I mean, I know I can wait. I just don't want to."Sighing, she sat down on the den floor, feeling slightly annoyed at Muroki and Delano for not being back yet.

Muroki groaned from the pain his back received from the fall, getting up after a few seconds and noticing that Delano had managed to catch up to the pray and tackle it down. He was able to notice that the gazelle was still moving, so he got up despite his aching back and ran over. Not paying much attention to his brother, he went ahead and stuck his teeth in the gazelle's neck until it was still.

Lina, noticing Umeme's annoyance, tried to think of something that might distract her from Muroki's absence a little. "So... why don't you tell me how did it go last night?" maybe talking about it would make her feel better.

Delano noticed Muroki run over and grab onto the neck of the gazelle. Gratefully getting up himself, Delano hobbled over to his brother. "Thanks," he muttered quietly. "That was intense." He bent down and grabbed onto their prey. "Now we just need to carry this back."

Umeme smiled at the memory. "Oh, it was nice," she answered. "The stars came out soon after I went over to Muroki. So we sat together and watched them." She didn't feel like talking about how comfortable Muroki was yet to Lina. Maybe later.

Muroki stood quietly and motionlessly for a few moments, breathing heavily in order to catch his breath. "Maybe we should have rested a little before hunting..." he said, finally looking back at his brother, "Let's wait a moment..." he sat down, stretching his back a little as he did. It still hurt from the fall, so he might as well wait for a minute or two if he wanted to be able to carry the gazelle, unless Delano felt like carrying it alone.

Lina chuckled, "Sounds romantic." at least her sister wasn't busy being upset about Muroki being gone now. "We can compare it to where Delano and I were yesterday after we show it to you both later." she didn't forget her promise to her sister and she knew that Umeme would love that place.

Delano nodded and also sat down. "Yeah, hunting right away like that was kinda stupid," he said, "you're right. We should've rested a little before." As much as he wanted to get back, the hunt had left him out of breath and a little dazed. Resting would be better than trying to carry the gazelle back right away.

"You think they're up already?" Delano asked randomly. "It's getting rather late into the morning." He had noticed how the sun was much higher up in the sky then before.

Umeme also chuckled. "Oh right, you wanted to show that place today," she said. "But I have doubts that you remember where it is."

Muroki shrugged, looking up at the sky, "They might be up already, but we told them that we'll be gone so there shouldn't be any problem." he waited for a few more moments before standing back up, "Alright, let's go back." he went ahead and placed one side of the dead gazelle on his back. Once Delano place to other part on his back they began heading back towards the den.

Lina smiled, "Oh please. After what happened there yesterday I'll never forget that place." perhaps they could go right away once Muroki and Delano came back.

Delano grunted slightly as he lifted his share of the gazelle, but ignored the discomfort as the two of them proceeded to walk back to the den. At least it wasn't very far.

When the den was within view, Delano picked up the pace. When they got close to it, Delano and Muroki dropped off the gazelle on the ground. Gratefully stretching his limbs, Delano then eagerly went inside the den. "Hey! We're back!" He called out.

Umeme laughed. "Didn't stop you from not knowing about it after how long?" But then she heard Delano walk in, and she jumped to her feet and rushed over to Muroki, who was close behind. Umeme nuzzled him, not realizing how much she missed Muroki just from this morning.

Muroki smiled the moment they were finally able to put the gazelle down. He went ahead and followed his brother, barely noticing Umeme heading over because she was already nuzzling him before he even realized it was her. Smiling and nuzzling her back, he said, "We hunted before we came back, so if you're hungry it's outside." meanwhile Lina walked over to Delano and also greeted him with a nuzzle.

Umeme was finally able to pry herself away from Muroki somewhat. "I missed you so much," she told him, "having to wait all this time. I'm glad you're back." She then smiled. "Are we going to see that place now?" She asked excitedly.

Delano grinned slightly when Lina greeted him. "Hey, we got some breakfast," he told her. "If you're hungry, it's outside." He then heard Umeme's question. "Yeah, we can leave soon," he answered, "Really comes down to if you're hungry now or not."

Muroki couldn't help but smile at what Umeme said, having never imagined that she could have grown to miss him so much in just a few minutes. "Thanks, I missed you too." he looked at Delano, "Well, I'm hungry." the last time both he and Delano have eaten anything was more than three days ago, and Muroki was surprised that Delano wasn't appearing to be hungry at all.

Lina looked at Delano with a smile, "Breakfast sounds nice." she wasn't too hungry, but the next hunt of the hunting party was only going to take place in the evening.
