A Look In My Eyes

Bandhura noticed his nervousness and she smirked, "What the big bad wolf doesn't like me being so close?" she teased softly. She smirked, "Well..you know I Licked you cheek to wake you." she added. She stood to her paws and looked down at Craig, "Can you walk to the river?"

Craig became even more nervous. Uh...you did? Craig finally became more serious with the next question. Yeah I think so. Craig then tried to get up and that caused ever bone in his body to ache. He did bring himself to the river. But it was there he fell down again.

Bandhura ran over to Craig as he collapsed by the river and she nudged him with her snout. "It'll be okay. Drink some water and let your body rest. she said softly. She stepped over to the river and leaned her snout towards the water and lapped it up. Exhasuted from the problems earlier, she laid down on the bank by Craig. "Are you in alot of pain?she asked.

Um...not much pain he lied. He got nervous again since she was close to him. Well uh...I can't stand much I feel like I am about to faint. In fact just talking hurts. Let me rest for a while. He then passed out pretty much because he was so beat up and exhausted. He didn't hear a thing.

Bandhura nodded as she watched Craig sleep, she stood back up to her paws. She made her way to the river andwatched the fish swim past her paws, then they continued down stream. Her honey colored eyes narrowed as she watched closely and swatted into the water with her paw, she flicked a fish onto the bank.

A smile crossed her maw and she did it once more and hopped back onto the bank. Shaking her body she released the water trapped in her pelt, Bandhura grabbed the fish in her mouth. She started to rip at the fish eating the meat,once finished she laid down by Craig. She checked him to make sure he was still breathing and she rested her snout on his back, she kept watch over her friend.

Craig woke up finally in what felt like days. How long was I out Bandhura? He saw her on his back and got nervous again. Uh what are you uh...doing on my back? He did another nervous laugh. Um, I think I can stand now. He then tried to stand but fell down again. Well I am more messed up than I thought.

"It's been a couple hours." she said softly. She looked up at the night sky and then back at Craig, " I was just watching over you. Making sure nothing else bothered your sleep.." she said sheepishly. She moved off of Craig's back and faced him, she looked tired.

"My den isn't far from here, if you want to go sleep until morning we can." she sighed exhausted. Her body felt weak and she needed to get some rest.

Sure. Thank you for watching me. Craig then went off again and amazingly his body came all the way to her den. Nice place. He then fell down again. Well I guess I will rest some more and he was out like a light.

Bandhura followed closely behind Craig as he went into her den, she gazed around once more before laying down by him. She noticed that he was already asleep and she crossed her ashen colored paws. She rested her snout on her paws and slowly her honey colored eyes closed. Sleep overtaking her.

Craig woke up again feeling a little bit better. He had the nightmare again. The one about him killing her mom. He awoke shaking. He thought to himself, she looks exactly like her mom and that is why this dream keeps coming up.
