Regardless of Kivuli's size, Simba wasn't intimidated whatsoever and his fiery like eyes remained locked on Kivuli's furry face, more so in his eyes. Intimidation wasn't the answer here and Simba knew that the combined strength of him and Nala was enough to take care of this little ordeal that Kivuli poses. Upon listening to what the banished lion was saying, Simba's facial expression gradually changed briefly to an uncertain one. He was made to believe that Outlanders were nothing more but followers of Scar and his evil ways.
After Kivuli fell silent, he could tell that something terrible was bound to happen. Will there be a unnecessary fight? Simba's thoughts were getting filled up with every possibility that can happen, becoming more self-aware and alerted. He soon felt a loving and affectionate nuzzle coming from his mate which made him feel more at ease. Hearing a small whisper from his mate, Simba glanced over to her and slipped out a low chuckle before diverting his attention back to Kivuli once more.
"Kivuli, The Outlanders always had a reputation of evil. When you were part of this pride, you knew that and yet, you went ahead and made some friends with their kind? What is it that you see in them? Look at yourself now, you're full of anger and quite uncontrollable by this point. It's lions like you that make this Pride miserable. You use to be one of our top pride members at the time when you were here, what happened to you?" Simba inquired, briefly glancing over to see what his mate was up to by this point. He noticed that she was on the complete opposite side now and pretty much trapping Kivuli in the middle of this mess. If this banished lion tried to pull any ridiculous stunts, it can pay him dearly for his impulsive actions.
"Don't even think about starting a fight Kivuli, I'm giving you a chance to talk about this. You were the one to betray our Pride to begin with. If there's any revenge going on here, it should be ours." Simba stated and continued to glare into Kivuli's eyes.
