Zira followed him silently, she just looked at the lion. In her mind she was trying to asses how strong he was by visual clues, how useful he really was.

Kali grinned. He was eager to establish himself and Zira as the new pride leaders. He imagined how great it would be.

With her assessment done Zira looked away, observing the surrounding area.

The journey continued until Kali and Zira found the pride. Kali looked at them and turned to Zira. "Their biggest dream is to find a strong leader. Now they'll have them. Once we're assembled, I'll enjoy turning the Pridelanders' dreams into nightmares one by one," he said.

Zira smirked. "Oh, I like your ambitions" she chuckled lightly and then looked at the pride. "Nice, very nice. They'll do perfectly"

Kali grinned wickedly. "Come, my queen. Let us claim our subjects," he said as he began to move towards them.

"Of course, they'll be foolish to not accept us as their leaders" the same wicked grin spread across Zira's face as she walked side by side with Kali towards the pride.

The lionesses of the pride suddenly noticed the newcomers. They looked threatening. One of them went up. "Have you come to hurt us?" she asked.

Zira smirked. "Not if you obey us" she answered.

"Then you've come to lead us, I guess. Why should we follow you two?" the lioness continued. Kali growled. "We are your new king and queen. You will obey us, and we will lead you to a new land. As of now, Zira is in charge of the hunting party," he stated.
