Chaka smiled at his family. He was so elated and satisfied...but then he thought of a dream lioness. Chaka imagined her with eyes like rubies and a coat so bright it ashamed the sun. Then he laughed...so many things to do first. Then he turned to Kopa and smirked teasingly, "as your service my future king."

Monstro looked to Zira and a smirk crossed his muzzle, "Well it seems they lost one powerful lion. Such a pity, now it'll only be easier for me to take the lands." he growled slashing at a termite mound with his claws. He looked around and his eyes fell on Kovu, "Tomorrow Kovu I take you for a walk in the Pridelands, I want to see this Simba for myself." he ordered and reclined back by Zira's side. "Zira you'll stay here and keep training them, the more training they have the better." he said with a devilsh smirk.

Diamante' looked to Monstro and watched him closely, it seems he was going to stir up trouble. Her green eyes looked to the Pridelands, they better get ready for a fight. she thought to herself. She watched Kovu and Folle attack termites and sighed, how much easier it was to be a cub and have little responsibility.

Simba smiled at what he was hearing from his cubs. "I sense that you'll be great leaders one day," he said with a smile.

"Yeah! And then we can scare the living daylights out of that stalker who knew my name!" Kovu chuckled evilly.

"Yes, Kovu, you will be a mutinous little cubbie." Zira laughed.

"Dad," Kopa asked Simba, craning his head back to look into his father's face, "if they get mates in other prides, will they have to leave here?"

Simba turned to Kopa. "No, my son. They will stay here," he stated.

Kopa grinned. He was glad he would not be parting from them anytime soon. But then his brow furrowed in confusion. "But if Kiara is to be Queen of another pride, wouldn't she have to go live there like Aunt 'Tani?"

Simba looked at Kopa, not exactly sure how he should explain this. "That's a good question, Kopa. Hopefully, everything will go well and she will stay here with her new mate," he replied.

Kopa blinked, confused. He was suddenly concerned for his sister's hopes and dreams of becoming Queen without being chosen as heir. "ut isn't that her decision to make?" he asked. "And can it be? Because Aunt 'Tani didn't choose to go away, did she?"

Simba tried to explain it the best he could. "Yes, it is Kiara's choice alone. As for Aunt 'Tani, she is free to reject the prince and return home whenever she wishes," he said.
