Nala licked Kiara's cheek, "Of course baby. You'll always be a Queen in my heart." she said smiling. Nala stepped beside Simba and nuzzled his mane, "Mufasa was right about Kopa. He will be a great King." she said softly. Her ears twitched at Chaka's words, "An advisor is 2nd to the King, you will be Kopa's 2nd in command." she said softly lifting Chaka's chin to look at her. "Its a huge responsibility." she whispered.

Nala chuckled at Chaka's question, "Well, Simba and I will arrange for a lioness to come from another Pride and be your mate." she said laughing. She hugged her boys, "But thats not until you start your manes!" she added lifting an eyebrow at him.

Chaka laughed in unision with his mother. He looked up at her and gave a cool smile. "But Mom, we have started our manes!" He said placing a paw upon his side-banged tuft. "Look at Kopa!" Chaka added, pointing another paw at his brother's long tuft. "I know it's not much...but we have mini-manes!" Then he gave a wide innocent grin.

OOC: the cool smile that he gives is basically this: durr. Hehe.

Simba laughed his sons spoke. "You're still a bit too young right now. Just wait a little longer," he said.

Kiara had a confused look splashed on her face. "But mother, father. I can't grow a mane." She stated. "And why weren't we given mates at birth? Like you two." She added, raising an eyebrow. Her point was clear, she wanted her mate now. So she could get used to him.

Simba sighed. "Things were a bit different when your mother and I were cubs, honey. You see, your mother, myself and Aunt Vitani were the only cubs in the pride. Since I couldn't marry Aunt Vitani, your mother and I were put together. You're too young to worry about such things. I will find you a mate when you become an adolescent," he said.

"Yes, Dad," Kopa said, resigned to his decision. He was already imagining his mate: graceful, charming, glittering eyes... He stared off into the distance, wondering what his departed family would think of him when he got older.

Simba looked at Kopa and then at Kiara and Chaka. "I apologize to you two. However, Kopa being king was what your grandfather wanted before he died. Kiara, you are my daughter and you will always be my little princess. Chaka, you are a fine young prince. I'm sure you will make some lioness very happy," he said.

Kiara calmed her brain. "You'll always be my daddy." She nuzzled his leg, then walked to her mother. "Would I be able to choose my prince?" She asked, looking at her mother and turning her head. Her mind exploded with the possibilities of what he would look like. Golden fur, green eyes, and a jet black mane. Maybe, brown fur, yellow eyes, and a fire red mane. Her eyes widened at possibilities.

Simba smiled. "Of course, honey. I won't let the prince marry you unless you approve of him," he said. He then held Kiara close again.

Nala looked down at Kiara and smiled, "Of course honey! Your father wasn't that lucky! I didn't have to pick him if i didn't want him." she teased Simba slightly. Nala looked to Kopa, "You will begin learning your throne duties soon." she added with a smile. She looked out onto the Pride lands and wondered how her mother and father were holding up in the tough conditions of the jungle.
