Umeme purred with content as she nuzzled Muroki. She had never imagined that it would come to this, not after he disappeared with Delano one day. Not even the night he came back. Not even just moments before. Now there was no hiding of her feelings for him, and his feelings for her.

She finally broke off, smiling. "Wow, that was, that was amazing," she whispered. This time, Umeme wasn't embarrassed about it. She was content to simply sit there and stare into Muroki's eyes, watching the light reflect off them.

Delano's ears twitched when Lina expressed her eagerness a bit louder than he expected. He suppressed a grin when he saw that she was trying hard not to make a fool of herself. "Oh, well, um... great," he replied. "I think it'll be nice to watch the sunset together." At the back of his mind, he was starting to doubt the decision. Was it a smart thing to do? Delano hoped that he would be able to find Muroki before then and ask for his opinion.

But for now, Delano was alone with Lina. He began to walk again, only pausing to get Lina's attention. "Hey, Lina, come on!" He didn't know where he was leading them, but Delano hoped that wherever they will end up at, the walk would be worth it.

Muroki closed his as the nuzzle continued, never wanting it to end. He opened his eyes when she broke away, smiling as he noticed Umeme's eyes were right in front of his. For all her cared, he could sit there and stare into those eyes forever. "Yes, it was." he leaned in a bit but he didn't nuzzle her again. Instead he simply touched his muzzle to hers, eager to still be able to look into her dazzling and beautiful eyes.

Lina smiled and for a while she stood where they had stop, thinking about how great it was going to be to watch the sunset with Delano. She was so busy in her own dreamy thoughts that she failed to notice it when Delano started walking again. "I'm coming." she rushed over to his side again, barely managing to keep the grin off her face. She didn't really care where they were going anymore. All she cared about was that they were going to watch the sunset together.

Umeme grinned a little when Muroki connected his muzzle with hers. They were both in contact, but she was still able to stare into his eyes, just as he was staring into hers. Right now, life was perfect for her. She smiled as she gazed into his eyes, able to see her reflection in him. "Hey, Muroki," she whispered, "we are one."

Umeme purred contently, not wanting for the moment to end.

Delano smiled slightly as Lina ran to catch up to his side. For some strange reason, despite the previous nervousness he felt around her, now Delano was starting to feel a certain calm with her. Like he didn't have any worries in the world.

He was so preoccupied with walking next to Lina, that Delano didn't really pay attention to his surroundings. This backfired when he collided headfirst into a tree with a crunch. "Ow! Really, that was..." He winced as he placed a paw over his head, dulling the pain. "...wow..." He looked forwards and saw that they arrived at a outcrop of trees surrounding a small waterhole, fed by a trickle of water falling from some boulders nearby. Compared to the surrounding savanna, this was a great place.

Delano walked slowly past the trees and lay down on the grassy bank near the water. He turned his head towards Lina. "Did you... did you know about this place before?" He asked.

Muroki was also able to see his reflection in Umeme's eyes, but he was more focused about how beautiful her eyes were. "We are one." he smiled, repeating what she said just a moment ago. It felt like nothing else in the world was of any importance right now, as if he and Umeme were the only two living beings in the entire universe. All of the embarrassment was also gone. Now that he didn't have to hide his feelings for her anymore and knowing that she was also returning them, he couldn't be happier.

Lina smiled as she kept walking alongside Delano, only noticing the tree ahead of them when Delano bumped into it. Holding back a chuckle, she waited for him to get back up and looked around them, smiling as she noticed how beautiful the place they stumbled across was. "No, as I've said I'm not the exploring type..." she couldn't help herself from saying, "This is even better than watching the sunset." she didn't really think about what embarrassing effect the words might have, right then she was busy admiring the small paradise they've stumbled across.

Umeme was lost in though, happy that she was with Muroki, able to enjoy this moment with him. Eventually, she was able to find herself enough to voice some of what was going through her head. "You know, Muroki," she said softly, "I never in my life thought that I would be here. With you." She closed her eyes and bent her neck to nuzzled him again, purring. "And now we are here. It's... wonderful." She smiled, rubbing her head against it. "Thank you, Muroki, for this."

Delano grinned slightly. "Well, I didn't know it was here either. I didn't even notice it until it jumped me..." he said, chuckling softly. "You like it?" Lina's comment shocked him somewhat. Better than a sunset? He briefly wondered how he was so lucky as to hit his head on one of the few trees in this little corner of the world.

He bent over for a quick drink before lifting his head up and examining the little area closer. Considering how good it was, he was surprised at how hard it was to find. Looking around, he saw how the land around them rose and blocked off most of the view. Which meant that it was also impossible to see unless one was right at the edge. Delano smiled when he realized this. "This place is really well hidden," he told Lina. "This can be our little spot..." As soon as he said that, Delano looked away, cursing at himself. He just said that out loud, din't he?

Muroki couldn't help but smile as Umeme nuzzled him again, closing his eyes and returning her nuzzle, feeling nothing but delighted. "No, thank you." he sighed, feeling like a few years could just pass away like that without him even noticing. Umeme returning his feelings for her was like a dream coming true. When their parents first died he really felt as if he had nothing else to live for, but now that wasn't what he was thinking. With Umeme by his side, he now had a reason to carry on with his life.

Lina smiled as she carried on looking around at the small piece of paradise they've stumbled across, admiring every single aspect of it. She looked at Delano as soon as he said what he had said last with a slight blush, wondering in what way did Delano mean that. After a few moments, she managed to get herself to talk, "I'd love that." she said, her face still a little red as she looked around the place again so there will be no chance of Delano noticing her blush if he turned around to face her all of a sudden. Deep inside she was very happy that they've found this place.

Umeme smiled, content with that Muroki thought the same about her as she did about him. She didn't know for how long they were staying together at this one spot in the middle of the savanna, but she didn't care. Nor did she feel like moving. She felt like she found her perfect place in the world, right by Muroki's side. "I'm going to be here next to you for a long time, do you know that?" She asked Muroki, grinning. She still had her eyes closed, so if Muroki did anything other than verbally reply, she wasn't able to tell. "Just you and me, together. As one."

When Lina didn't reply right away, Delano looked at her, and was about to call out her name when she finally spoke. "Oh, good then," he answered, glad that his slip of the tongue didn't backfire on him. "Want to call it anything?" he asked, grinning slightly. If it was going to be their place, they might as well name it something.

At the back of his mind, he was wondering what Muroki was doing with Umeme at this moment. The fact that there was no way that Muroki could have foreseen this coming brought a small smile on Delano's muzzle. He would like to know how Muroki's day went, but will then have to describe his own time with Lina. That would be interesting indeed.

Delano looked again at Lina, watching her as she looked around their little overgrown alcove. His breath was swept away when he realized how her coat gleamed in the sunlight that broke though the tree canopy above them. She was magnificent.

Muroki smiled and let out a happy sighed, "That wouldn't be a problem at all." no one would be able to understand just how happy he was feeling right now, nor would he be able to describe his happiness. "Do you like stargazing?" he asked randomly, remembering how he and Delano used to do that with their parents from time to time. However this time when he thought of their parents, it wasn't followed by any sadness or hard feelings, he felt complete.

Lina continued looking around. She had heard lions arguing over names for cubs before, but for places? That was something new and unusual. "I have no idea." she said with a slight chuckle, thinking again. "Um... How about 'Our little spot'?" she chuckled again, looking at Delano with a smile. It was the only name she could come up with for a place, and it sounded rather silly, which is why Lina liked it.

Umeme's eyes opened at the randomness of Muroki's question. "Why, err... I never did that before," she said, feeling ashamed. She looked up at Muroki uncertainly. "Do you want to try? Us, I mean, together, watch the stars tonight." In her cluelessness about the subject, she lost enough of her confidence that she started to babble again. "I, err, I guess. We can try that." She said, trying to smile naturally.

Delano let out a small laugh. While he didn't particularly like that name, he got the point behind it: there was no reason to name it. "Yeah, I think that can work," he replied, smiling. "You know, this place really is amazing," he told Lina, and before he could stop himself, he added, "Like you."

Muroki was slightly confused at the way Umeme started babbling again all of a sudden. "Me and Delano did it with our parents a lot." he said with a smile, hoping that Umeme would realize that she didn't have to be nervous around him. "I'm sure you'd like it, the stars can be really beautiful. Not as beautiful as you are though."

Lina's smile was repaced with a blush when Delano complimented her. Nervous, she tried to figure out how to respond to that, "Uh... You really think so?" she knew that her nervousness was noticeable, but Delano's compliment took her completely by surprise. "I..." she knew she had to give a more proper response, "Thanks..." she looked down at her paws, obviously shy.
