Tanga nodded his agreement, deciding to stay where he was, wanting to move closer to Marini, but at the same time, not wanting to disturb Uhuru.
----------
Nala nodded. "I think we all know I only got one lap done," she said, a note of diappointment in her voice.
----------
Sarabi nodded. "I only got a short distance further than Nala."
----------
At this point, Kali finally spoke up. "And then both me and Simba made two laps. Now, may I say a well done to everyone...yes, even you, Nala," she added as Nala shot her an odd look. "Making even one lap around that at the pace I was setting is not easy, and your high abilities already will make your training just a little bit easier, too."
"But that's still not for a while yet, although if Tanga keeps healing a rate he has, we may be able to start very soon. Now, since I've shown you this, I want you all to keep doing this every day. Just run around anywhere on this hillside, and keep up a jog for as long as your body allows. I suggest you stick to lapping the hill itself, because doing it that way will start to show you when you get better...you'll find yourself lasting longer and longer."
"The reason we're doing this is, as I've said before, that in a battle, the ability to out-last your opponent is invaluable. In many fights, the survivor is often decided by whichever one lasts the longest, rather than who is the most skilled, although that is extremely important too."
"Just keep that in mind, and if you keep this up, you'll be more than ready when the time comes to go back to Pride Rock."
