Ra lay on the ground crying softly, knowing there was one card left to play. She slowly stood up and walked towards him. "What must I do to save them?" she begged, "What does my master disire?" she asked

Mufalfa looked at her, "Well..." He got another headache again. "Oh hi there! Why are you crying? Is something wrong?" He looked at her and wiped the tears from her eyes. "Well nice place right?" He laughed but this time it was a cheesy laugh.

Ra saw her chance, "A... A... Lion, you know is about to kill my sister and her friends, please, can you stop him?" she pleeded.

"What...Where...Where is he? Point me to him! I'll give him the old one, two." He looked at her waiting for her to say where that lion was.

"I think he went that way" Ra said pointing towards where Imani and the lions were

"Oh I'll....I'll...I'll...hmm....hahahahaha you fool I will not help you!"He looked at her smiling. I hope you said your goodbyes to your sister for you shall never see her again!"

"Please, How can I get you to stop, I'll do anything." Ra said sobbing again

Tanga was left with his emotions chasing themselves in circles. On one hand, he still did not quite trust Neru...he had just met him, after all. But the story he had just told of his past was cutting into his heart, leaving him unsure.

Neru's past had several noticable similarities to his own, the crucial different being that his own parents were dead...gone forever. Neru's brother, on the other hand, was still out there somewhere, and he still had a chance to reunite with him. Tanga rubbed his forehead with a paw, giving a low growl of frustration that only he could hear. What could he do? Neru obviously wanted to go to these 'Inner Lands' to the north, but Tanga's doubts were still running rife.

And Imani. He could not do anything without Imani now. He had promised, and he had just gained enough of her trust to let him stay with her for a little while. But she still had not responded to this new lion.

In the end, all he could do was give Neru the facts, and wait for Imani to do something. "I'm sorry, Neru. I...I'm a rogue, too. And I've...." he choked on his words, finding himself unable to talk about his parents. It may have been a year ago, but the memories were still too fresh, the pain still too raw. "Look, I'd like to accompany you, and help you get to these 'Inner Lands', and find your brother...but I'm with her," he waved a paw towards Imani. "And it's really her choice where we go."

He looked at her. "You can do nothing to make stop." He hit her knocking her out stone cold. He bent down and thought about killing her then but did not.

Neru looked at him and cursed in his mind. "Oh well I can accompany you guys. I mean my brother might be around these parts. Perhaps I can accompany you and leave once you guys get close enough for me to go on my own. I will look for my brother while I accompany you guys." He smiled trying to show his friendly face to the fools and to show he meant no harm. "I am alone guys I have no one left. My brother is all I have. My parents were killed horribly by someone named 'Mufalfa.' Please help me find my brother!" He started to sob and it was all fake of course.

As Ra slept, her dreams were haunted by screams if her sistser. She knew she had failed. Her prommise to her mother, Broken.
