Conal feels a surge of guilt come over him. If I decided to come back earlier, wouldn’t Jay have had more time?

"Don't you dare blame this on yourself, Conal. This was not your fault."

Maybe the sickness isn’t my fault, but the timing for Jay is - Conal thinks to himself. “Jay, if you need us like Kayla said, we’ll be here.” Conal backs up a bit preparing to leave.

"Fill us on on your mother's condition and we'll respond the best we can, okay Jay?" Kayla gently requests.
