(Private) NM and Zeke's RP!

Mila had her eyes closed when she felt Zeke's paws wrap around her. She opened her eyes and looked directly into Zeke's, without moving. She wasn't really expecting this, but was totally comfortable with the whole thing. "Your very warm.. " she said, enjoying his body heat. She closed her eyes again, and felt really relaxed. She started to drift in and out of consciousness, and fell asleep within a minute or so.

Zeke rolled his head to the side to look at Mila which sent a stabbing pain into his skull. She had gone to sleep in his embrace. Gazing over the sleeping lioness, Zeke noticed how beautiful Mila was. She maintained a very fit and healthy figure and he remembered her deep blue eyes and her bright smile. But he stopped himself. Why am I thinking like this? He wondered. He had never had affection for another lioness since his old pride. And since then, he considered it a dangerous emotion to have, for it can bring great sorrow and anger as he had learned through experience.

He continued to stare at Mila until sleep slowly came upon him too.

Mila was roaming and jumping around, when she heard someone yelling. What's that? she thought. She followed the voice up a hill to a very alarming scene. There was Zeke, Hokori, and Kiana on one side of a gorge connected by a bridge like rock going across. On the other side, an entire pride of vicious looking creatures. She couldn't tell if they were lions or hyenas from her distance. Suddenly she was next to her 3 friends, with the creatures, that she could now distinguish as lions, ferociously clawing at them. They had no chance, but Mila couldn't do anything to stop it. She reached out for Hokori's paw as he was trampled by the outnumbering lion pride. He disappeared from view. Mila screamed "Hokori!" and watched as Kiana was next. She felt her heart ripping out as she saw Kiana abandoned and having 30 vile lions tear her apart. She screamed out Kiana's name, but nobody heard her. She tried to move, but couldn't while she watched Zeke desperately run from the lions. Her view was directly above Zeke now, and could see Zeke's desperate look. It was immensely painful to watch the lions gain on Zeke. Her view was now in front of Zeke. She held out a paw, and screamed "Zeke! Give me your paw!" Zeke jumped and held out his paw, but was unsuccessful in reaching Mila. Zeke looked once more at Mila, hopeless. Mila watched as he was violently ripped apart by the ferocious pack. She screamed "Zeke!!!!" As loud as she possibly could.

Mila awoke with a sudden jolt upwards. She was sweating uncontrollably, and had a terrified look upon her face. Apparently she had been screaming everything that happened in her dream in real life, because Zeke was already looking at her, terrified.

[Zeke]

"Is something wrong Mila?" Zeke asked, conserned of Mila's behavior. He had heard everything that she had said and was worried about her well-being. To him, it sounded lilke a horrible dream, but he was in it which conserned him even more. "You ok?"

Mila looked a little bit relieved. "It was just a dream... thank the kings" she said. She looked at Zeke and said "Yeah, I'm okay now, I just.... nevermind." She added. Still a bit scared, she held Zeke as close as she possibly could, her entire body from her stomach up lying on Zeke's chest. She wrapped both forelegs around his chest and said "Say that it's gonna be alright. That it's gonna be ok.."

Mila's mind wandered... she thought about what she said for a moment.
When it's not alright
When it's not OK
Will you try to make me feel better?
Will you say alright?
Will you say OK?
Will you stick with me through whatever?
.....Or run away?

[Zeke]

Zeke was unsure of how to respond to this, so he gathered his thoughts. "Its going to be ok Mila," He started. "Everyone is still here, I'm still here and will always be here for you." He paused at this statement. Never before had he said something to this extent. "Nothing is going to happen to any of us, we are all fine." Looking up into Mila's eyes, Zeke could sense a great deal of emotion. "Tell me, is anything bothering you?"

Mila's mood started to become better as Zeke talked. Upon hearing his second comment, she just looked at him, and slightly smiled. He's not just trying, he IS making me feel better.... she thought as she remembered her poem-like thoughts she had thought about just moments ago. When Zeke asked her a question, she had to think for a great amount of time before thinking of the correct wording to use. "When I asked you to say if everything was ok, by everything I meant not only me, but you as well..." After a brief pause, she continued. "Your head has gotten me worried sick about you... I can't bear to see anything bad happen to you.. I... I can't lose you..." she said, still in a petrified state from the dream. She thought about her memories with Zeke and the friendship they had shared for a little bit more than a year now, and looked at him like she had been before.

[Zeke]

"You don't need to be worried about me, I'm fine, well I'm getting better see?" Zeke lifted his head slightly but couldnt hold it up much longer and let it drop with a soft thump. "Like I said before, I'll always be here for you, so dont worry. Pretty soon I'll be up and running again, but hopefully not down cliffs," He said, trying to lighten up the subject a little bit. Zeke paused for a little bit to look at Mila some more. Her eyes displayed overpowering emotion that showed great affection and worry. "You should not worry so much, it could change your whole outlook on life." Zeke couldnt think of much more to say and waited for Mila to respond

Mila gave Zeke a warm, caring smile. He had helped her deal with her emotions so much over the past 2 days. She had the urge just to kiss him on the spot, but decided against it. She hadn't noticed, but her entire body was now on Zeke, they were touching stomach to stomach, but Mila was holding herself a bit on her back legs, so Zeke wasn't under any pressure or pain. "Thank you, Zeke... I'm not sure what I would do without you.." Mila looked into Zeke's eyes again. She could sense his affection for her, and that he was really caring and gentle in situations like these. Without saying more, she made a move that Zeke would have never seen coming. She gave him a kiss, and turned her head so she didn't have to look at him. She couldn't hear anything coming from Zeke, which was probably a good sign. He usually breathed heavily when mad or shocked.

The kiss came out of nowhere and it took Zeke by suprise and he didnt know what to do. No one had ever kissed him before. It was also the first time in his life where he could remember feeling loved by another, and it made him feel good. Zeke lay on the ground with a warm smile and stared at Mila as she looked away. Is she embarassed? Did I do something wrong? He wondered. "You're embarassed?" He asked
