So, Simba and Nala walked out of the den and down Pride rock. The two cubs couldn't find their parents or their pride mates so they decided to go into the savanna to look for any of the members in the pride. As they continued for what seems to be ages Nala spotted her mother, Sarafina, with Simba's mother, Sarabi, at a rock by the Waterhole just relaxing.
"MOM!" Nala shouted.
"Nala I'm so glad to see you walking! Are you alright sweetie?" Sarafina replied with relief and concern.
"Yes, Mom. Mom where is everyone?" Asked Nala curious.
Just then Sarabi spoke up.
"The lionesses are making plans for tonight's hunt. And Mufasa is on territory patrol. But don't you worry honey everyone will be back shortly." Sarabi replied as she smiled at Nala.
All of a sudden a gunshot was heard and they saw Mufasa limp running towards them in panic.

"Simba, nala, RUN!" siad the limping lion.
"What is it dad?"
" Human Hunters! there after us!"
"But how?"
"I don't know, i didn't think there were any humans left in the world"
They ran as fast as they could
Mufasa warned the two lionesses to run

Sarabi and Sarafina knew better than to disobey Mufasa especially at a crisis like this so the two mothers picked up Simba and Nala by the scruff of the neck and started to run as fast as their four paws can carry them. As the lion and lionesses run towards Pride Rock with the scared cubs in their jaws. Another human suddenly jumped in front of the lions and aimed his gun at the lionesses. Out of bravery Mufasa jumped in front of Sarabi and Sarafina and gave a mighty roar that frightened the poachers to the bone. Then all of a sudden Simba got loose from Sarabi's jaws and ran towards the hunters in a attempt to frighten them off, but instead got captured. "Simba!" Cried Sarabi with fear and worry.

Simba Then Hid n the bush before anyone could notice him. The Hunters were surely fooled.

After the hunters left Sarafina walked towards the bush, and picked Simba by the scruff of his neck, and carried him back to Pride Rock with Mufasa, Sarabi, and Nala.
