Mufasa thought for a moment. "I don't know," he said. Uru smiled. "I believe it is. However, if Mufasa has a cub, that cub will be in line for the throne," he said.

[Maleficent]

"But I'm closer related to Mufasa than a cub that doesn't even exist yet," Taka pointed out greedily.

Uru smiled. "Remember, I said if a cub comes. For now, you will be considered Mufasa's successor," she said.

[Maleficent]

"How about Sarabi gets betrothed to someone else?" Taka suggested randomly, already trying to think of ways to prevent a cub.

Uru laughed slightly, then shook her head. "No, Taka. It doesn't work that way," she said.

[Maleficent]

"Why not?" Taka asked before adding, "I think it could work that way."

Uru shook her head. "Royal law forbids the breaking of a betrothal, except in the case of unfaithfulness on the part of one of the couple or one mate being abusive to the other," she said.

[Maleficent]

"Oh," Taka said, shooting Mufasa a look of the corner of his eye. He didn't think Mufasa was the unfaithful type.

Mufasa looked at his brother. "Don't worry, Taka," he said. Uru looked around. "Perhaps we should get home. Sarabi, Sarafina and Bianca should be home from their hunting lesson any moment now," she said.
