Ahadi laughed at Mufasa's enthusiasm. Sometimes, even he can't keep up. But Mufasa did miss a few points. "Yes, Mufasa, you are correct," he said, "but there is another part of the circle of life. Taka, do you think you know it?"
Taka looked up. "Me?" he asked. Mufasa took up other's attention so much that Taka was used to being left alone. Taka thought for a few moments before he spoke again. "Well, the circle of life is also about death. How death follows life, and life follows death. How you can't have one without the other."
Ahadi was genially surprised. "Well done, Taka!" he said. "To put these two ideas together, we have to kill the antelope for us to survive. At the same time, the antelope eat grass, which grows from out own dead bodies, and therefore, as the antelope feed us now, we will become their food in the future. It is this that connects us all in the great circle of life." Ahadi ran a paw on Taka's head. "I am proud of you, Taka." He also looked at Mufasa. "I am proud of both of you."
