The 3 arrived at the edge of Outlands it vastness stretched for miles. 'This is it the final stretch then the Pridelands, if we walk quickly we can get there by nightfall but be careful of the Outlanders they dont like strangers'

Lobo looked out across the barren lands "Wow...even bigger than I remember..." He looked around "No water for miles, this is going to be tough"

~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Sairra had been sitting alone, just on the edge of the gorge. She didn't usually travel that far away from Priderock, but things hadn't been the same since the outlanders joined, her friends were far more interested in the "new guys" than her.
She needed excitement and this pride did not deliver that, sure there had been some drama and even a battle since she'd been there, but she longed for more. As she got up, she looked towards the outlands "Hmm" She thought to herself "That could be fun..."
She took one more glance at Pride Rock "I won't be long, I'm sure no one will notice"
'Indeed, this will not be easy. There are some waterholes we must drink when we can. Come on lets move' Kivuli marched forward into the rough terrain 'Nothing will stop my revenge Simba, nothing!' he though to himself as he and his companions made their way forward
Nala walked briskly and soon she reached the foot of her home. When she reached the top she noticed that her mate was sitting by the edge looking out at the land. She walked over to him and bumped her head against his affectionately. "Good morning my King, how are you this day?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Vitani licked her chops and purred, she had just finished off that weak antelope she had been stalking. Now that her belly was full she was bored again and wished she had something exciting to do. She figured she could probably visit her old home and knock around some termite mounds, perhaps even mess with the crocs. She began walking and soon found herself going not towards where she used to live, but to the elephant graveyard where she had spent many of her adventures with Nuka. As she reached one of the steam vents the memories hit her like a force of bricks and sadness enveloped her again. "Nuka you idiot, why'd you have to die?" she muttered sadly.

Ethan quickly picked his head up... he thought he'd heard a voice. Scanning the area where he'd heard the sound coming from, he could see a lioness crossing into the outlands from the pridelands. His curiosity was piqued, but he was to comfortable to move. He laid there under his tree and watched her. "I wonder what a pridelander is doing out here?" he wondered. Suddenly the wind shifted and he turned his head away from the pridelands and sniffed the air. It almost smelled as if someone would be visiting...

Kovu watched as his mate basked in the sun, enjoying the warm rays. He remembered their first time together and how clueless he was of what a true cubhood was like. He looked around from the peak of Pride Rock and sighed. It was a truly lazy day and we was getting bored of the lack of excitement. The kingdom that was soon to be his lay before him and he thought nothing of it. He knew that one day he would have to step up to the throne but at the moment, he had no desire to. Too many worries clouded his mind, the mistakes he could make, the lives he could mistakenly take, and ultimately the destruction of the pride.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <--good idea
Dash kept quiet as he followed Kivuli and Lobo. He still didn't feel completely comfortable with them to his back, so he kept a fair distance away from them in the back of the procession. Silently padding across the dirt, Dash looked around and was shocked by the lack of life there was to be seen in what the others called the Outlands. The ground under his leathery paws was cracked and dry, very scratchy to the touch, and the air was full of dust and a revolting smell. Despite these minimal factors, he continued to follow the two lions, attentively watching his surroundings.
Kivuli noticed Dash was lagging a little, he dropped back in order to talk to his spotted friend 'You ok Dash, you seem..... distant. Is something wrong?'
"No, nothing is wrong, just a little tired that's all," He lied. The last thing he wanted was to attract attention from a lion he hardly knew, however he didn't realize that the way he was acting was turning both heads back at him.
Kivuli could tell something else was up 'Dash you can trust me and Lobo, your part of this little pride now, and pridemates trust each other' Kivuli wanted Dash's trust not just for making the job of taking Simba down easier. Dash seemed like a good cat to be with once you got past the shyness
