[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Folle opened her eyes to Geni's voice. "Yeah, just resting my head." She answered with a smile. Duke was sleeping next to her, yet not touching her. She let him sleep as she got up, the lioness was taller then her. Yet, she was the only person who said nice things to Folle. "I'm Folle, what's your name? Pretty lioness." She asked with a wide smile, Folle loved making others smile. Duke disappeared again, leaving Folle. Looking down at where Duke was, she frowned once again.

"I'm Geni, young one. Glad to meet you." She said, smirking slightly at Folle's elated expression. "Was someone else here with you?" She asked, wondering why Folle kept on looking at the ground next to her. Geni also marveled at the cub's two different bright eye colors. Resting on her hind legs, she sighed, it was a really long time since she had seen a cub, since she was a cub to be exact. This was going to be a nice conversation.

Nala blushed and licked Simba's cheek, "Thank you my love." she cooed softly. Her blue eyes gazed down at Chaka and she watched Kiara make her way from the den, she smiled. "Alright kids, go wake up Kopa. Your father is taking you to Rafiki." she ordered.

Sarafina woke up and steppes outside near Nala and Simba, "Morning family." she spoke softly. Her green eyes watching the cubs chatter.

Simba smiled, "Go get your brother." he orderes once more. His golden paws stretched forward as he gazed out on the Pridelands, it was quiet this morning.

Monstro nodded to Kovu, "Come on lets see what we can find." he said moving Kovu deeper into the outlands. His mustard eyes searched for tracks in the dry dirt. "See anything Kovu?" he asked. He crept low and searched the lands, still coming up dry.

"Come on Kiara, let's go wake up Kops." He chuckled, yet again he had used the new nickname. Chaka padded next to Kopa and nudged his side with a paw. "Kopa. Kopa, come on get up." Chaka sat next to his brother, waiting. "A little help here?" he whispered at Kiara, who was sitting on the other side of Kopa.

Kopa slowly rose to consciousness, trying to hold on the the last images of his dream. The sight of him standing at the tip of Pride Rock, fully grown and the animals bowing before him disappeared. His auburn eyes gazed into the faces of his siblings, and he suddenly realized there was only a 33% chance of his dream becoming reality. He heaved himself onto his paws and shook the dust from his golden fur, ready to face whatever "punishment" his father saw fit. "I'm up, guys!" he complained loudly, trudging from the den.

Nala caught Kopa from the outside of the den and gave him a few licks, "Now you three go with your father." she instructed. She reclined to her hinds and watched the cubs chatter around Simba, she licked his cheek. "Have fun." she chuckled.

Simba nuzzled Nala and nodded, he looked to his cubs. "Alright follow me you three." he ordered as they made their way down Pride rock. Simba looked to Kopa, "How did you sleep son?" he asked him.

"Hey, alright...jeez." Chaka pouted at the way Kopa was annoyed just because they had awoken him. It was late morning after all, and the sun was starting to get right overhead.

"Thanks Mom." He looked back at his mother as he and his siblings followed their majestic, well built father. Chaka sweared he would never see another lion greater than Simba.

"Like an elephant," Kopa replied with a small grin. "But then again, not even an elephant could sleep through Chaka's snoring!" His smile was lighthearted as he playfully and gently teased his little brother.

"There's an eland. Think we could catch it?" Kovu licked his lips at the thought.

Zira finally decided that she should get up, especially as Monstro wasn't around. "Alright, outcasts!" she called, "If we're gonna make an army, we'd better get to it! Now!" she waited for the others to gather up.

Kiara laughed at Kopa's remark. "That's so true!" She added. "Mother, father? When will we know who's going to be next heir? I've been wondering for ages now." She remarked, looking up at Simba and Nala. Please say Kiara! This cub thought smiling.

Folle laughed. "It's nothing, I though someone I knew was there!" She laughed looking up at the tall lioness. "How did you come to these barren lands?" The albino asked, only blinking her red eye.
