Nuru: I still can't believe it........it seems like only a few days ago......we were just friends.....playing......not even engaged!

A while later, Abi returned while dragging a very young gazelle with her. "Daddy, I got that one too!"

Siari giggled quietly as she rested her head in her mate's mane. "All because of my father and his ideas..." she said.

Tua: good job! And to celebrate...I got us a little something!
He motioned with his tail to the bottom of the hill behind him. There was a full grown plump giraffe
Tua: I caught a giraffe! Your favorite! I figure just you and me could eat it! What do you say?

Abi beamed. "Sounds great! Then we can take what I got home!"

Tua: Yep! Let's eat! BUT.....you have to sit right next to daddy!

Nuru: Best idea ever! I still can't believe that my cubs are growing inside you

Abi nodded, rubbing her head against her father's mane.

Siari giggled. "They're moving about, you know..." she said. "Wanna feel them?"

Tua laid down next to his daughter

Nuru: Sure! Uh.....mind getting on your back?

Abi joined her father as they began to eat.

Siari chuckled, rolling onto her side.

Nuru placed his paws onto her moving belly
Nuru: Hey! .....It's Daddy! You know......when you're born......me and Mommy will do anything to protect you! .......We love you so much! And be good to Mommy in there! Okay?! Hey, Siari? ......When was the last time we were......alone?
