Tanga sighed lightly, rolling onto his back to give his silver-grey belly some sun as well, his upside-down gaze still focused on Marini. "I hope so..." he said slowly. "One thing's for sure, if I ever find that leopard again, I'm going to get him for what he tried to do to you." He spoke quietly so Uhuru couldn't hear, but the venom in his voice was obvious.

Nala smiled as Uhuru spoke. "That's all I ask," she said, before watching as the young cub seemed to relax, enjoying the sunbathing. "It's nice, isn't it...you can just sit back, feel the sun on your fur...it seems to make all your worries just fade away."
"You know, me and Simba...and even Marini there, were a lot like you when we were your age...we just wanted to run all day long, and have as many adventures as possible. On the odd occasion, I still do...but I guess, once you learn how calming this is, you find yourself relying less on adventures for fun. And if it makes your parents worry less, then everyone wins...I guess..."
Nala's voice trailed off as she thought of Sarafina, and how she was faring in the Pridelands, pretending to be Scar's loyal follower and fan.
