“Figured.” Flash replies. “Hey Kayla, I have a question about you that I’ve always wondered. Have you ever... liked anyone? You don't strike me as the lioness that wants anyone. You seem like you were always prepared to stay independent for life."

"Well, yes.... and no." She answered.

[Stormy]

Flash looks in confusion. "What do you mean yes and no?"

"I've had crushes now and then, but never one who I've seen as the one." She explained.

[Stormy]

"And I assume none within the last few years?" He asks.

"You'd be right." She added.

[Stormy]

“I see.” He replies before going quiet. N’Kalla comes charging back in hopping onto Kayla.

“Oh, the demon is back.” Flash mumbled.

[TheLastLion]

Kayla chuckled, "To be fair, you weren't exactly much of an angel when you were that small, either."

[Stormy]

“I’m starting to finally understand why Conal doesn’t like children, at least. But I don’t remember clawing into your back like that one does.”
