"Dad! He's coming for you!" Chaka had a severly worried look. "Run!" He yelled at his father to climb up quickly, since the figment of Scar in his brain had grown to the size of an elephant and leaped with claws extended at Simba.

"Chaka, come down! I'm taking you to Rafiki so he can look at you!" Simba shouted. By now, his anger had turned to very real worry.

"But Dad!" Chaka fliched as the shadow reached his father. When he turned his head back, the lion was gone and his dad was fine. "Father!" Chaka ran down immediately to Simba and hugged his father's leg. "I'm so sorry about the way I acted. I didn't mean to be so stubborn and ignorant..." He looked up at Simba with an apologetic appearance.

Simba held his son close. "Chaka, I accept your apology. You will still get a history lesson from Rafiki, but I do forgive you. Now, let's get you three home," he said.

Nala watched the scene and as they made it to their den she pulled her cubs close. "All three of you had me worried." she muttered licking all three of them. Nala nuzzled Simba's cheek, "Tomorrow Simba we need to speak and you three have lessons." she added tucking them into bed.

"I will summon Rafiki as soon as I can," Simba told his mate before licking her cheek. He sighed. "They're so much like we were when we were their age," he said.

"Monstro," Zira whispered, after everyone was asleep, "Come here, I want to talk to you." They exited the cave and Zira blushed. "You know that offer I offered this morning? Do... do you accept? You never really..." Her thought trailed off.

Monstro crept past Kovu sleeping and he stepped outside the den with Zira, his mustard eyes focused on her. He smiled slightly, "You and Kovu mean the world to me. Of course i do." he chuckled. He pulled Zira close and licked her cheek, another smile crossing his muzzle.

Simba was busy watching his cubs as they fell asleep. He looked at Nala. "They're so peaceful when they're asleep," he said.
