Tanga, Nala and Sarabi also wandered towards the bushes, recognition dawning on Tanga's muzzle as he realised this was the same plant that Busara had used to help his wounds. Sarabi also recognised the plant as one of many Rafiki used in his healing remedies, but having not seen the mandrill actually in the process of using, was curious. Nala, however, was a little more dumbfounded. "Uhh...what's so special about this plant?" she asked, trying to make it sounds curious and inquisitive rather than rude.

Once each of the group had his own leaf ready, Busara spoke up once more. "In most of the cases, the wounded is not by one of these." he said motioning at the plant, "You can simply break the thorns off the sides and carry it to where ever you need." he said, before answering Nala's question. "This plant has a special liquid in it. It helps seal the wound faster and it releaves the area from the pain for a while." he said as he used one of his nails to cut the leaf in half, so the liquid could be reached, Marini, Uhuru and Simba doing the same as he did

Tanga also followed Busara's lead, slicing his leaf with a claw, watching in fascination as the liquid began to ooze out of the plant. "You just apply it to the wounds as is, don't you?" he asked when everyone else remained silent. "Nothing special you have to do with it?"

Busara nodded at Tanga, "Pretty much. I'm sure there are many other types of plants that can do the same thing but, that's the only one I remember." He said and glanced at Uhuru, grinning slightly as he watched the little cub taste the liquid and quickly spit it out like most curious cubs do with everything that seems eat-able. "Just make sure you clean the wound first, otherwise there's no point into doing this."

Tanga decided to go with a practical demonstration of Busara's advice, taking a measure of the liquid from his leaf onto his paw, slowly rubbing across his scratched right cheek, sighing and purring lightly as the initial stinging was replaced by the soothing, cool feeling the sticky substance provided.

----------

Nala watched with some fascination as Tanga set to work covering his wounds in the liquid, noting the way he seemed to relax a few seconds after he applied the stuff. "What else is there for us to learn?" she finally asked as Tanga set to work soothing his severed ear, looking back up at Busara.

Busara looked at Nala, "Well, unless you guys want to add anything, then I think we're done here." he said and smiled at the group. There wasn't much he could teach them in the first place, he knew that what he just taught them might be useful, but hoped that they wouldn't need it.

Sarabi shook her head, indicating that she ahd nothing further to add. "We might come up with something more one day, but for now, there's nothing any of us can add, as far as I'm aware. Thank you for this, Busara...I'm sure it will come in handy, although I hope we never really need it again." She noticed Tanga nodding, having finished applying the stuff to his wounds now, as he and Nala thanked Busara as well, before they headed back towards the hill.

----------

Kali, still sunbathing on the hillside, looked up when she noticed the group returning from Busara's lesson, smiling as she got to her paws. It was time to begin her training...to an extent. Until Tanga's injuries healed completely, and gave him the ability to move freely without the risk of his injuries flaring up, there was really only once thing she could do for them. But it was simple, and effective, and if they adhered to it...when the real training came around, they would have a much easier time.

Simba and Marini also thanked Busaa before following the rest of their friends back to the hill. Simba noticed Kali was up, probably waiitng to hear about their lesson from Tanga or Uhuru. But he couldn't help but wonder how was she going to train them and what would make the training so hard.

As the group got closer, Kali got up and made her way towards the group. "Wait a second, guys!" she called. "I have something to tell you all!"

But as she reached the group, she turned to her mate first. "How'd it go?" She then turned her attention to little Uhuru. "Have fun, sweetie?"

Busara smiled at Kali, "It went alright." he said, like the group wandering what did Kali have to tell them.

Uhuru smiled up at her mother, "It was interesting." she said, but she didn't know what they were up against. She didn't know that they would be facing a big group of hyenas, so she considered the lesson as nothing but extra knowledge which she would probably never need.
