Kovu smiled regretfully at Kiara's suggestive air.

"I think after our conversation just now that that would be a little irresponsible." he answered gently. [b]"Why don't we just sit out there together for a while for old times sake?

Kovu missed stargazing with Kiara. It was a throwback to their first meetings, and always made him feel at peace with the world. He hadn't been able to do so for several days, seeing as they had been so busy and full of adjustments and new responsibilities, stresses, and situations. It would be a relief to really be carefree for a change.

Left to his own devices once again, Shani pondered how his first encounter with Kivuli had gone. He felt that he had a good chance of earning the older lion's trust. Kivuli wore his values plastered across his face, which made it easy for a crafty onlooker to determine exactly what it would take to make him an ally. Shani didn't relish the thought of going up against Kivuli in the proposed "friendly" sparring match, and in all likelihood getting defeated, but if it would earn Kivuli's respect and trust he'd do it, and do his best to show the other that size wasn't everything in a fight.

Now though, Shani had to look forward and determine for himself what other lions of the pride might let themselves be persuaded to trust him over Simba. He still had hopes of catching Kopa alone, without Rahina at his side. KThe couple clearly had a nearly unbreakable bond, and it seemed to Shani that that bond was Rahina's weakness. If Kopa could be convinced that it was in their best interests to listen to him, Rahina might be dragged along as well.

As he brooded and thought Shani let his paws take him a slow and winding route back in the direction of Pride Rock.

Smiling warmly at Almasi, Nala replied in a friendly tone as she slowly rose to her paws.

”It’s very nice to meet you Almasi and that’s a pretty name for such a pretty cub. Sure Hun. I’ll go get you some. You just stay right here with Rahina okay, and I’ll be right back.”

Seeing a much needed opportunity to wash her paws off, as well as to get Almasi a drink, Nala nodded towards Rahina as to indicate that she was in charge of the young cub while she’d be gone. Bounding off towards the main waterhole, as the cream colored queen knew she would be needing one of the many turtle shells that Rafiki kept there, in order to transport some water back for the thirsty little cub.

Making excellent time, Nala reached the main waterhole within a few minutes, quickly locating just what she was after. Taking one of the smaller shells in her muzzle, the queen of the lands made her way towards the pristine edge of the waterhole, pausing for a moment as she took care of cleaning her paws of the medicine that she had been working with previously for Mila and Vitani. Once she was satisfied with that, Nala carefully dipped the hallowed shell into the cool pool, filling it up as much as she could before she started to make her way back towards Pride Rock at a much slower pace as not to spill any of the precious liquid she was delivering.

Upon arriving back at the calm looking scene, Nala gently placed the turtle shell next to Almasi, addressing the young cub in a tender voice.

”There you are Hun. Hope that’s enough for you. Don’t drink too quickly though, or you might get a tummy ache.”

Taking a seat once again, next to Rahina, Nala observed Almasi with a smile. Unlike Taraji, Almasi seemed a bit more social despite her past experiences, although it was too preemptive to judge just what her character was like. At least the prospects of Taraji finally having someone around to play with, lifted Nala’s spirits, regardless of the fact that Almasi would still have to be accepted by her mate.

Purring contently, Kiara leaned in closer to nuzzle Kovu affectionately as she gazed into his emerald eyes with a loving stare, replying softly to what he had said.

”That sounds wonderful Honey. Just as long as I’m with you and Taraji is safe, we can do whatever you’d like.”

Resting her head back down upon Kovu’s shoulder, Kiara sighed happily as her fore paw lightly caressed her mate’s furry side, giving little scratches with her paw toes in random spots as she spoke once again.

”So, are you still looking forward to being king of The Pride Lands Honey? I know for me, following in my mom’s paw prints isn’t going to be easy. I mean, she’s just so good at everything she does. She’s like the best hunter ever and me, not so much. She’s so sweet and caring towards everyone she meets and everyone loves her so. I hope I’ll be able to be as good of a queen as she is. I want to be, for everyone here, but more so, for you Honey.”

Giving Kovu a sweet look, Kiara scooted in a bit closer, pressing Taraji in between their warm bodies to keep her shielded from the colder winds that started to blow around them as night picked up. Smiling seductively at her beloved lion, Kiara murmured softly to him.

”I wouldn’t want to make you look bad as King you know Honey, but I think it’s impossible for you to look bad…” Kiara stated, moving in and connecting her muzzle lips against Kovu’s for a moment, kissing him tenderly before she continued. ”cause you’re just so hot Honey.”

Giggling quietly, Kiara gave a playful lick over Kovu’s nose before she shifted her body slightly, resting the back of her head upon Kovu’s fore paws, looking up at him with a coy smile, the light from the few stars that were already shining, causing the golden princesses orbs to sparkle as well.

Almasi leaned in to take a drink, the water that surrounded her muzzle was the best thing she had tasted in a long time "thank you" she said, her sky blue eyes glaring up to the beautiful Queen, a shiver ran down Almasi's spine "im getting cold" she stated as she walked over to Nala and snuggled into her to keep herself warm

"I said we would go to the waterhole after dinner and drink something. Look it is already dark outside. The other lions will probably come here soon." the last words fade a bit away and her voice weavered. It was clear that she did not really want to be here when all the other lionesses were arriving at the main den. She licked some of the blood from his paws. "Let's say we drink something, then I will help you with the bath and tomorrow you can go and have fun as much as you want. I am sure you will find someone to play with." Laini really hoped that Daxis would find someone. She noticed that the situation was swaying into the direction she had feared it would. It got out of her paws. She felt the uncertaincy that was dwelling inside her about being able to raise this energetic cub. She nudged Daxis and turned to the entrance of the den to go to the waterhole. "If you really want we can come back to the den here after we drink something." she said silently. She really would prefer to stay in her old den but she hoped this would at least make Daxis follow her. It was a big thing for her though. It meant to face her fears and dislikes to be surrounded by the pride all the time.

Rahina nodded as Nala told her to look after the cub while she was getting water.
Rahina licked over the head of the cub between it's ears to calm Almasi down. She repositioned herself and lay the cub on her chest while curling half around it to keep the chill wind away from Almasi. Then she just watched the cub. She was so focussed on the cub that she did not look at Kopa once until Nala came back. Rahina smiled as Almasi snuggled against Nala. It was clear for the lioness who the cub liked more. Rahina sighed. Not that she really was into caring for a cub already as she had enough worries for her own cub to come but as she clearly saw that she was being avoided Rahina got a heavy heart about her own cub. What if her own cub would also not like her? It was clear to her that Nala was more beautiful. Nala had no such aweful scar across her full left foreleg from the shoulder to the paw like Rahina had.
Rahina thought about the first glare of the cub towards her. The eyes had been filled with fear. Rahina had directly notices that this cub did not trust her even if she just saved it. Or did the cub not see it as being saved by her?

Rahina sighed again. There was no meaning in brooding over a cub that was not even her own. But it still affected her thought about her own cub. As she stared into the air she finally noticed Kopa again who stood next to the full scene. With a deep breath she forced herself out of her thought and her warm voice raised once again. "I think we should excuse ourself darling. I guess Nala will have her paws full with caring for the cub and we will only be in the way there. Also..." she yawned. She only wanted to fake it actually but at the same moment her yawn became a real and long yawn she noticed how tired she really was. The running in her state and the fact that she was not in the best condition anyways had taken a lot from her. She just wanted to snuggle against her beloved Kopa in a warm and safe den and then go to sleep. ... also I am a bit tired already." she continued her sentence a bit to late.

Rahina looked heavy as she heft herself on her paws. But she quickly geathered all the energy that was left in her to cover her already again weakened state before Kopa.

As Kivuli lay in the cave with Mila, he kept her close to his powerful frame. While the two were snuggling, he was leaning down and gently licking her wounds. Thankfully they were not to bad and would be healed very soon. Once the cleaning was done, Kivuli rested her head on his paws and gently placed his on her neck behind the ears. His warm body would make a perfect blanket for the night. As the two got comfy Kivuli whispered to her Dont worry, ill protect you from now on. I promise

Daxis wanted to follow her after she offered him to play the whole nex day but when she said to return to the main den after drinking he was totally convinced. He ran towards Lainis Forelegs and nuzzled one of it with his head while purring softly.
"That would be so awesome thank you mommy you are the best we can go now"
The waterhole was not far away but he was always thinking about Simbas words about the strangers. Daxis went slowly next to the golden furred Lioness towards the waterhole.

Almasi noticed that Rahina was leaving "WAIT" she yelled at the top of her small voice as she ran to Rahina and nuzzled her "thank you for saving me, if you didnt find me i would have died" she said as she licked the lioness whome she thought resembled her mother

Watching as Almasi moved from her, over back to Rahina, Nala giggled as she called out to Rahina.

”Looks like someone’s taken a liking to you Rahina. Do you want to look after her for tonight or would you rather me to? She seems to be okay around us both, so I’ll leave it up to you.”

Figuring that there was no harm in letting Almasi stay with the pride for tonight without her mate knowing, as Nala wasn’t too sure where Simba had even gone off to. Waiting for a reply from her fellow lioness, Nala sat patiently, glancing down at the blue eyed cub with a friendly gaze.

Kopa was about to reply to his mate’s suggestion that they make their way back to their den, when both Almasi and Nala’s words cut him off. Staying quiet to allow his mate to reply to their comments, Kopa slowly started to make his way closer to where the trio were, being sure as not to startle the younger feline with his presence.

Mila stayed mute as Kivuli tended to her wounds. To her, Kivuli was acting a bit strangely. He held her frame close to his, practically snuggling against her. As his slick tongue moved and helped her wounds even further, she began to wonder. Was Kivuli's current actions just out of care? It didn't seem likely. Maybe he liked her back?

When Kivuli had finished his thorough cleaning, Mila was surprised that Kivuli did not stand up and leave. He stayed right next to her and snuggled even closer, whispering words into her ear that made her feel surrounded by a force so strong that she felt completely safe from anything that could possibly happen. That moment was a bonding moment for her. She knew now that Kivuli would definitely be a great mate from how he acted towards her so far. Mila was now infatuated with Kivuli.

Mila turned herself over, letting Kivuli's paws continue to be a most comfortable pillow with all the smooth, luxurious yet ominous fur that his paws offered and his chest offered as well. She felt such a bond between herself and Kivuli that she just made direct eye contact with Kivuli, even though their muzzles were dangerously close, and smiled warmly, indicating her intense appreciation that she felt at that moment, and as that intertwined with her new infatuation, Mila felt it hard to restrain herself from telling him how she felt. It was too early to tell if the lion actually did in fact think of her the same way she thought of him, and making a mistake this early was not something she wanted to afford. She wanted to be sure.

Kivuli noted Mila looking at him with a smile across her face. She was such an amazing lioness to be with. A perfect mate for anyone. Kivuli could not help but smile warmly back at her while looking deep into her midnight eyes with his blazing red ones. Kivuli was enjoying this comfort and could tell Mila was just as fond. He decided to make he more comfy. He placed his left paw round he back and side, bringing her into his chest and lower mane to embrace and comfort her. Kivuli then nuzzled Mila gently How are you feeling? Are you ok?
