Finally, Simba found his cubs. "Why did you three come here when I specifically said not to?" he said, his ears flat against his head and his eyes narrowed.

"I... I dunno. I've never seen them before. Hardly had any idea they existed." he laughed nervously. He neared the den and rushed to his mother. "Mom!"
"Oh, Kovu, I was so worried! Where did you go?"
"Oh, you know... the elephant graveyard..."
"Oh. Okay. Did you have fun?"
"Simba's cubs were there."
"What?"
"Yep. So of course Simba came running. So we had to go."
"We?"
"Yeah, Diamante took me." Zira gave Diamante a look that said, If you hurt him, you're dead.

Simba continued looking at his cubs. "You three have several seconds to give your mother and I an explanation as to why you came to this forbidden place," he stated.

Chaka looked up at Kovu and the lioness as they made their way up the bone filled side of the Graveyard. Then he heard his father clearly scold them with a snarl. He looked up at him, and then glanced at Kopa menancingly. "It was all his idea." Chaka flash his teeth as he blamed Kopa.

Geni was just bringing in the murdered Kudu into her new home, the Outlands, when she heard another female that wasn't Regina, she also heard a cub. Dragging in the meal by one of it's horns, she layed it careful next to the group. As she neared the female with it's cub, she recognized her face. Geni was shocked and opened her blood red mouth. "Zira? Is that you?" She couldn't believe it.

Nala looked to Simba and raised an eyebrow, "Kopa? You know the graveyard is strictly forbidden!" she said stepping around her cubs. She noticed larger paw prints and she growled to herself. "All three of you are in trouble, Chaka. no one likes a tattle tail either." she added.

Diamante' looked to Zira, "I watched after him. WELL, he followed me." she admitted. She stepped to the side and let Zira and Geni speak. Diamante' relaxed to her belly and watched everyone closely, this was a strange group of lions.

Monstro pulled Kovu with his large paw, "Did you stay out of trouble boy?" he asked. He watched zira and Geni talk and he looked to Kovu, "So you saw the cubs? Did they look defeatable? One of them will take Simbas throne you know."

"No, Mom, it was my idea!" Kopa admitted, though a bit upset that Chaka was so quick to blame. It may have been his idea, which he was fully prepared to take the blame for, but it was he who agreed to it.

"My name is Zira. Why?" Zira was confused.

"Yeah. There was a girl and two boys. The girl could be easily defeatable, obviously. One of the boys was weak-looking, but the other... Dad, he knew my name. I've never seen him before, so..."

Nala blue eyes looked down at KoPa, "It may have been your idea but you all chose to go!" she scolded. "Your father and I are disapointed in you three." she added. Nala looked to her cubs, "Did you see anyone else here?" she asked curiously, her eyes then looked back to Simba.


Monstro looked down at Kovu, "He knew your name?" he spoke to the cub. He then smiled at Kovu calling him dad. He pulled the cub close and wrestled him softly, "Don't worry! You'll be stronger and smarter then them. The throne will be yours." he said looking down at him.

"Yeah. I have no clue how. I just was out in front of him, and he said, 'Kovu.' And then he looked confused. I sure was." He looked up at his step-father. "Why? Is there any special reason?"

The cubs' silence infuriated Simba all the more. "When your mother asks you a question, you answer! Now, did you see anyone else here?!" he said.
