Adofo: Yeah. But we have to do everything we can to protect them! Zazu! Go to all neighboring friendly prides and have them send as many of their best fighters as the can spare! Immediately!

"No!" Ua whispered.
"Father, you can't be serious!" Adena hissed. "You're just about to ask other prides to risk their fighters' lives and not do anything in return?! We can fight for ourselves! Zazu, please don't."
Zazu shrugged and flew into another cave.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Ua, I have to protect you and you brothers and sisters! You can't ask me to watch them kill you!

[Iri]

Adena shook her head. "That was me speaking. Anyway, you can't just go out and ask other prides to give us fighters that could die. We can defend ourselves."
Samaki, Sky, and many others came up and nodded. "We can protect ourselves, Father," Sky said.

Adofo: But.....kids.....can you even fight?

Adena looked offended. "Wait, what?!" she hissed. "You're just trying to say we're weak and can't defend ourselves?!"

Adofo: No! I just.....I can't lose you kids.....you're everything to me! Just....promise me you'll protect each other and.....promise daddy you'll all be okay.

"We promise... Daddy," Samaki said, remembering the deal with her father.
