The little cub stands up and stumbles towards his big sister and nuzzles her leg.
Furaha: Well....he is kinda cute.

[Iri]

*Maalum cuddles against Furaha as Furaha lays down.*
Arida: Aww, he loves you.
Maalum:
*Furaha curls around Maalum and gently lays her paw over his back to keep him warm.*
Bahati: *Growls* Why is that over-grown flea touching our son?
Arida: *Glares at him* That's my daughter!
Bahati: Not your REAL daughter.
Arida: I don't care if she's adopted! I love her as much as Maalum!

[Adofo]

Bahati: Hmmpf
Arida: AND now she's YOUR daughter too! Get used to it! She's sweet and caring!

[Iri]

Bahati: I don't like accepting an adopted cub as my own.
Arida: You're going to have to.
Furaha: Get used to it, Dad.
Maalum: Ba?
Furaha: I don't know what you're saying.
Bahati: Cubby speak, stupid.

Bahati: I CAN CALL HER WHAT I WANT!!!!
Adofo comes up from behind and picks him up by his mane with one hand.
Adofo: So....hows my new hat doing today!!!? Or are you my grandson in law?
Bahati: Uh......grandson?

Hondo: *To Adofo* I knew that all Bahati would cause is trouble. Arida said that he was kind... but I think she's having second thoughts.
Adofo: Yeah.
Arida: I'd prefer it if you call her Furaha, by her real name!
Furaha: *Growls* Same here. Because you KNOW how much I love to be called stupid.
Bahati: I'd rather have two sons than a son and a daughter.
Arida: Having a daughter is perfectly fine!
Bahati: It's easy for YOU to say that. YOU'RE a female.
Arida: Is there a problem with that?
Bahati: *Growls at Arida* What do you think?

Adofo: Are you saying, you've got a problem, with MY grand daughter!?!

Bahati: No, no, no. Nothing!
Adofo: Good! Remember? You promised not to cause trouble. You don't seem to be living up to your promise!
Arida: He's fine. *Glares at Bahati* But my grandfather is right.
*A few weeks later, Maalum knows how to talk and is swimming in the lake with Furaha. Arida and Bahati are sunning themselves on a rock.*
Bahati: It's such a nice day.
Arida: Yeah, it is.
*Suddenly, Arida and Bahati hear a sharp squeal. Maalum had hit his head on a rock.*
Furaha: Maalum!
*She carries him out of the water and gently lays him down.*
Bahati: *Snarls at her* THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! IF YOU HAD ONLY BEEN MORE CAREFUL, THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!
Furaha: I'm sorry... *Whimpers*

Adofo: WHAT HAPPENED!?!?
Furaha: Maalum hit his head!
Adofo picks up Maalum and holds him in his arms.
Adofo: Hey hey its okay! It's okay!
Bahati: YOU LITTLE WHELP!!!
Bahati smacks Furaha.
Adofo: HEY!!!! DON'T YOU DARE HIT HER!!!!!!!

Furaha: I'm so sorry! It was an accident!
Adofo: It's all right, he's breathing! Your mother is a very talented Osain anyway. She'll fix him up.
*Arida applies herbs. In about ten minutes, Maalum is conscious and lively again, as if nothing had happened.*
Arida: *Growls at Bahati* I'll thank you for never hitting Furaha again!
Bahati: *Snarls* She nearly killed our son!
Arida: She did not. It was an accident, and he's fine now!
Bahati: If she had been more responsible, and if she had kept a closer eye on him, nothing would have happened!
Arida: Maalum is fine, and it is not Furaha's fault!
