[Closed] Little Stranger (Taraji Chapter 1)

Having to cover her own muzzle with a fore paw just to keep from waking Taraji with her laughter, Kiara listened intently to Kovu’s story, pretending to look shocked from what he revealed to her about Nuka, playfully replying in a smug tone.

”Oh, you don’t say? I would have thought he would have had all the gorgeous young lionesses swooning all over him.”

Nodding in complete agreement with what Kovu had suggested, Kiara smiled and leaned in, giving her beloved mate a loving lick over his muzzle as she remarked.

”Yes, I suppose we should Honey, even though that means one less play session for us but I’m sure once Taraji gets older and makes a couple of friends here, we’ll have plenty of time to play our adult games.”

Giggling wildly from the way she enjoyed toying with Kovu’s previous explanation to their inquisitive daughter, Kiara licked over Kovu’s cheek one more time before she rested her head back upon his broad shoulder.

”Well, it’s getting late Honey. Maybe we should turn in for the night, unless you want to sleep out under the stars tonight?” Kiara asked, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief with the fading sunlight that illuminated over the happy family.

Noticing the sun in the sky and that it was nearing the end of its daily journey, Kivuli wanted to see how Mila was doing. He had doen as Simba asked of him, now he could relax and be with on of the most amazing lionesses in existance Its been a pleasure talkign wth you Shani, I hope you can settle in. If you will excuse me there is something else I must tend to. Maybe later me and you can have a friendly brawl ourselves Kivuli then set off to the main den of priderock

The journey didnt too long, and the one blood leaking wound was healed up and the pain gone. Kivuli bounded up the side of priderock and made his way into the den. There he saw Mila laying down, resting and getting seen to by Nala. The gray beast made his presence known Hello Nala, I came to see if Mila is ok He walked way over to Mila before leaning down and licking her muzzle, not caring about Nala's presence

Daxis replied fast after the pain faded away. He looked at Laini with a grin and he was embarassed.
"Hehe yeah i should and sure i want to eat something now im so hungry" Even if he had eaten not long ago he was hungry again because he was still growing up. The meat was still juicy but i tasted bland so he stopped eating after 2 small pieces of meat.
"Eww thats nasty" He dont want to lick his muzzle clean because he didnt like the taste of it.

Laini chuckled and looked at the cub that was picky about it's food. "Thats not nice from you. The hunting party gave it their all. If you can hunt something yourself you can be picky but in the meanwhile..." Laini took a small piece herself and ate it. "... just eat without critisism of the hard work of the hunting party."

The truth was Laini was afraid Nala would hear his words and get angry. She had to admit that the meat did not taste the best but at least it would fill Daxis stomach.

Rahina purred and snuggled against Kopa but the animal on this rock far away on the edge of the prideland still got her curious. She tried to figure out what it was but even with her good trained eyes it was hard. Just as the sun nearly was completely gone and it's last rays fell upon the small body she jumped in her paws. It could't be or could it? The moment the sun went down the small body had tried to stand up and Rahina was sure that it just looked like a lion cub. Was it just her imagination because she was pregnant or was it really.... "Be right back darling." she just said and in a fast jog she padded down pride rock and towards the place she last had seen the body. She was pretty exhausted as she got there but...

She did not see ghosts. There was the small body of a lioness cub that fainted. She had brown fur just as Rahina but her belly was cream beige. The eyes were shut. But on her forehead there was a wierd mark. It looked like a diamond. "A small diamond, isn't it?" Rahina whispered to herself looking over the body of the cub. It did not seem to be injured. Maybe it did just run until exhaustion. Rahina looked around. No other lioness or lion was in sight. She did not know all the prides members so well yet but if this cub was a part of Simbas pride she did not encounter it before. She also did not hear anyone talk about it. But maybe it would be the best to bring it to the queen. She would know whoes cub she was or what to do with her. Rahina gently grabed the cub on it's scruff and padded back towards pride rock.

Kopa barely had time to verbalize a response before his precious mate took off, leaving him seated atop the promontory of Pride rock, puzzled by Rahina’s unexpected departure, trying to figure out just what she was up to. Watching closely, keeping an eye on his mate as she dashed off towards the fallen creature to whom they had been conversing about previously, Kopa noticed that something was up.

Rising to his paws, making his way towards the base of Pride Rock to intercept his mate’s return, Kopa spoke in a concerned voice as she arrived.

”This was the creature who we were looking at Hina? Is she okay?”

Nala had noticed Kivuli’s appearance in the main den, but hadn’t said anything, due to the fact that she knew why he was here and didn’t want to interrupt their special moment. Hanging off to the side, just in case she was needed, the cream colored queen simply observed the events unfolding before her, attending to Vitani’s wounds in the mean time.

Mila had been peacefully resting when she was awoken by the sweet and gentle voice of Nala. Now being informed of a slight sting, Mila prepared for the burn and tried to anticipate when it would start. Once it had begun though, it was easy to stay calm and relaxed because the pain was nothing in comparison to what she had previously experienced.

Her pain all flew out the window when Mila heard the voice of Kivuli. She immediately snapped out of her slightly unconscious state and was surprised to see Kivuli standing right beside her, and how he licked her muzzle. Immediately Mila was a bit taken back but just figured that Kivuli was very caring and didn't think more of it besides that it was a friendly lick. She looked around for Nala, but didn't see the lioness around even though she was behind her, which caused her worry to subside. Mila looked up at Kivuli, after the fact and spoke to him with a proud tone, almost as though nothing had even happened. "I'm fine now, thanks to you." Upon hearing the gentle sounding words flow from her muzzle, Mila's muzzle slowly smiled, and although she was embarrassed by being attacked and having to be rescued, she was glad that the one to do it was Kivuli.

Almasi felt herself being lifted from the ground where she had fallen, she was to scared to move,she opened her eyes slightly and as she seen a lion aproch her and whoever was carrying her she squirmed to get away but she was far to weak "help" she tryed to scream but all that came out was a faint whimper

Rahina noticed the wimper of the cub. It meant the cub was conscious again. At the same time Kopa reached her and asked about the cub. Rahina lay down and placed the small cub between her forelegs and held it softly against her chest to keep the chill wind away from it. She knew by instinct that the cub had to be kept warm at this state.

Rahina looked up to Kopa and nodded. "Yes, that's it. I have not seen it before. Maybe the cub of someone of the pride. But what it was doing there I don't know. I was just about to bring it to the queen. She might know who's cub it is. At least she will know what to do with the cub." Rahina looked down on the cub that was slightly moving but clearly to weak to run. Rahina herself was also pretty worn out by now. She was not in best shape today and the run really had exhausted her.

In order to not let Kopa notice about her exhaustion that was not normal for this short jog and because she knew that Nala had to be informed at once she once more raised her warm and soft voice towards Kopa. "Could you please look for the queen and let her know about the cub? I don't want to spook her by carying her again while she just awoke." Rahina looked down on the weak cub. "She must have been through a lot I think."

Almasi looked up and saw a lioness looking down at her, she felt safe as she looked kind of like her mother, Almasi was so thirsty, her throte was so dry she could hardly speak "hi" she said with a little smile appereing on her face

Daxis looked still with skewed look and the meat juice was still on his muzzle hile he replied Laini.
"Ok i will next time but fortunally im full now. And... what if the meat was foul"
The juice dripped from his muzzle. He took one of his white paws and smeared over his muzzle. Daxis just made his paw dirty too.
"But anyways we can go now"
