Rocks break off and Calliope dangles from the edge of the cliff. Her bravado begins to fade as she struggles to hold on. Her hind legs kick and scrabble at the cliff face as she attempts to pull herself up. But her efforts only send pebbles tumbling down.

As her strength begins to dissolve and she slowly begins to slide off of the cliff due to her paws slipping, her bravado begins to dissolve.

It was clear to Calliope now. She was slipping and she couldn't hold on for much longer. By instinct, she resorted to her only chance of survival. She tearfully looked up at the rogue Lion, who stared down at her with an empty expression, and begged. "Please, help me!" She cried in desperation. "I.. I'm slipping!"

Calliope's hind legs slip off completely and she's left desperately holding on by her front paws, which are slipping. The rogue lion reaches his paw out to Calliope who struggles l but manages to reach him.
