"We set fresh kills by that tree." Ayo waved at a nearby hyena who waved back with a bone.

Mlezi cautiously walked up to the hyena and tree, "Hello. May I have something to eat, please?"

"Who are you?" Ashanti said, starring up at her curiously before signalling her over. "Come over, my name is Ashanti, I don't bite. Bring your friends too."

Mlezi was a little shy, "My name's… Mlezi. I'm a lipard…" She looked away a moment, "Sorry. I'm just a little... wary when interacting with your kind, due to who my father was…"
She stared at a fresh kill by the tree.
