[Buffy]

So in a few minutes, Kiara had a new cubby. All the lionesses smiled!

As Kiara licked the cub, she noticed it wasn't moving.

[Buffy]

Concern filled the lionesses faces... The little cub seemed to be unconcious...

But, Kiara licked and licked, but it wasn't moving.

Eventually, Kiara stopped licking. Her eyes filled with sorrow. Her cub was dead. It must have been where it was born. There were a bunch of twigs pointing up from the ground, and there were insects everywhere. There was a breeze going. Kiara should have known better than to join the hunt in her condition. But she couldn't have known. She didn't know her cub was coming. She decided to get up and go home. She looked up at the lionesses. Some of their faces were worried, some confused, some sad and some were even angry. "Lets go home..." Kiara said and started walking away.

As the lionesses walked, Kiara stayed far behind, since being the most upset. Kiara, it's okay, you'll be able to have more cubs. But Kiara didn't answer. So Vitani walked back up front. Kiara's taking this hard isn't she. Yeah, but it's to bad that none of us have experianced haveing to lose a cub. Well, I heard that Sarafina's going to have a cub. As Buffy and Vitani talked, Kiara was staying in the back.

Mew the cub mewed. Huh? Kiara got startled, but she kept walking. Mew. The cub mewed again. Kiara heard this one, without a doubt, she ran back to the cub. Kiara! Where are you going! Kiara went up to the cub. Rawr. Coem here guys, it's alive! The lionesses went back and cheered.

It was a very joyful moment, and all the lionesses were overjoyed. After all the excitement calmed down, they decided it was time to go home. "Come on Kiara, lets take that little one home!" Buffy said as the lionesses started walking back to Pride Rock. "Ok... Lets go home!" Kiara said with a big smile. She lifted her cub up gently and slowly walked home.

When they got back to Pride Rock they were greeted with a worried Simba and Kovu. They had both gotten worried about Kiara. But they had stayed behind in case she came home. "Nala, did you find her? What happened? Why didn't she come home with the others?" Simba asked his mate. Nala gave a little smile before saying, "we got an unexpected visitor." And then she walked into Pride Rock for a rest.

It had been a long day for Buffy, but not nearly as long as Kiara's. Still, Buffy kept her energy up and walked over to Kovu. "Hey, may I be the first to congratulate the new father?" She asked. Kovu's eyes widened. He had no idea he had become a father. "Father?" He asked Buffy, she nodded at him before saying, "if I were you, I would get over the shock and be with your mate." He then came back to the real world, and nodded. "Thanks for letting me know Buffy!" he said and walked over to Kiara. "I wish I could have been there for you..." He said, and nuzzled his mate. Kiara just smiled. "You're here now." The lions, cubs and lionesses started backing away from Kiara. They had seen the miracle and said their hellos, and they were ready for a good night's sleep. "Lets get this little one inside and get some sleep." Kiara said and Kovu agreed. So Kovu took his newborn cub in his mouth and walked towards the inside of Pride Rock with his mate. As they reached the sleeping den, they met Simba. He looked at Kiara and said, "your mother said we had an unexpected guest." He smiled at the little cub. He also noticed the pride in Kovu's face. Simba remembered the day Kiara came to the world. He had felt the same pride. "Yeah, this one was a bit of a surprise!" She said and smiled. Kovu took the little cub into the sleeping den while Kiara gave her father a snuggle. "Thanks for being there for me when I need you. You're the best father I could ever ask for." She said and walked into Pride Rock.


It was late, but Simba was still not sleeping. He was looking at the starry night skies. He remembered his life, his father mostly. Again he talked to his father. "Hey dad. I know I couldn't be there with Kiara today, but I know you were. Thank you for protecting my little baby and grandchild. They are both my treasures." Simba sighed. "You know, I still miss you. You were one of the greatest parts of my life. And I am proud to be your son. Even if I miss you. But you're always in my heart... and I am in yours... Aren't I?" Simba looked up at the stars, as if he was hoping for an answer. "You are." Simba turned around to see his beautiful mate, Nala. "You coming? It's late." She asked. He smiled at her, but quickly lowered his head. "I'm sorry Nala, not tonight. I don't feel like sleeping." She smiled. "Well, no need for you to be alone." She walked up to him and gave him a snuggle. His big, soft mane kept her warm and satisfied. They stayed there that night. Gazing at the stars...

The next morning, Buffy woke up and went to go get a drink. "Hmm, no Nala and Simba". So, Buffy walked to the waterhole, after she got a drink, she swam for a couple of mintutes, then got out. As the son sparkled on the water, it looked like eyes glittering in the moonlight. Buffy went to search for Simba and Nala. Soon, she found them, well, atlest Nala. Nala! There you are! Where were you?!

Well, Simba was out here alone star gazing, I found him and we stayed and stargazed, the we fell asleep. Well, where's Simba? Wait, he's not here? No. Well, where would he go? I think I know.....

So, Buffy and Nala went to the gourge. And where, Mufasa's body layed, Simba was sleeping with him. Simba, Simba wake up.?Wait... What Simba, you were sleeping Ohh, I was? Of course you were silly. Why did you come down here? Well, because I haven't been here in a long time. Well, let's go home now and go ask Kiara what she named her new cub! Okay. So, the three went home.

The rest of the pride had woken up and were all doing their thing. Everyone seemed to be awake and out of the cave. Except Kiara and Kovu. "Mama! Mama! Mama!" Buffy was surprised to see her little cub, Zeta, jumping around. "What's going on?" Buffy asked Zeta, who still seemed to have plenty of energy even if she had been jumping around. "Kiara and Kovu are awake but not outside in the sunshine. They keep looking at the new cub!" Buffy smiled. "They are allowed to be inside with their cub you know. When you were newborn I spent alot of time inside with you!" Buffy told Zeta before giving her cub a snuggle. "Why don't the two of you go find out what Kiara named her cub? After all, you are the grandparents!" Buffy said and smiled. Simba and Nala nodded and started going inside to see Kiara.

While Simba and Nala went into the cave. Tero, Shani, and Maua went over of Buffy. Buffy, why aren't my mom and dad coming out of the cave? Because Kiara had another cub. What?! Well, they had it, but I don't know what gender. Probibly a male, then it will become king! Of course not Tero! Your the oldest! Yeah, sure. Then Tero walked to the end of Priderock.


Tero, what are we going to do? Well, first, we look at the cub, ask mom and dad what gender it is, if it's a male, I'm running away![color=#FF0080]No Tero we need you! Umm Shani, did you forget I'M firstborn? Oh, yeah, sorry Maua. Well, let's go look at the cub. So the three went to go look at their new sibling.


The three went to go look at their new sibling. Mommy, what is it? It's a boy. Isn't he cute? Tero growled at this. Tero, atlest you have a brother of play with. Yeah, sure. Maua loved looking at the cub. He's adorble! What's his name? His name is Chakava, it means 'scruffy'. I don't care what his name is! He's adorble! Maua liked him because he was brown, like her color. But, Tero decided to run away. Don't go!!! Well, I have to. So, that night, Tero would run away.
