Nala nodded. "But please don't be as harsh on Kiara's kids as you were on her. Promise?"

Simba nodded. "We need to have a talk with her about this," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

"Okay." Nala replied.
As soon as they returned, Kiara ran out to them. She nuzzled against her father and mother, and then looked at Ahadi. "Why'd you run away without asking me or telling me?" she asked.
"I just wanted to see my aunt and uncle." Ahadi replied. "I'm sorry for leaving you. You were asleep, and I didn't want to wake you."
"Well, I'm glad you're safe." Kiara said. "Now go inside and play with Amiri or something." She then turned to Simba and Nala. "Did you guys solve the problem? Is the threat over?"
Nala shook her head. "They won't listen to us. They believe it was Simba who killed Mufasa, and he tried telling them it wasn't true, but they wouldn't listen. We just left before any fighting could go on."
Kiara nodded, understanding. She then looked at her father. "Why are you so quiet?" she asked.

Simba looked up. "It's this. I thought that all of our problems would be solved once Zira had died," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

"You always feel that way." Nala pointed out. "You thought all the problems would be solved when Scar died, too. But there are always obstacles in our path, Simba. Try to understand that." She then looked at Kiara, then back at Simba. "I'll go leave you two alone now. Come on, Kovu." she then ran off.
"Is there something you want to talk to me about, daddy?" Kiara asked.

Simba shook his head. "No, Kiara. I want you to look after things over here. I'm going to go and see Rafiki and see if he can give me any advice," he said. He then walked away, heading for Rafiki's tree.

Vitani entered the den. "Well, Kiara, it looks as if we might be fighting again, this time with each other rather than against each other," she said.

[Queen Elsa]

Kiara obeyed her father and went inside. When she heard Vitani, she looked up and smiled. It had only been a short while since Vitani had joined the Pridelanders, but it felt like she was always part of the family in some way. She walked up to her, and whispered, "Do you want to go out with me and train Ahadi? She looks really bored." Ahadi was just sitting in the den, doing nothing. Kiara felt sorry for her.

Vitani smiled. "Yes, I do. It sounds like a lot of fun," she said.

[Queen Elsa]

Kiara smiled, then turned to Ahadi. "Ahadi, come here." she called. Ahadi ran over to her. "Would you like to come with Vitani and me, to practice some fighting skills, just in case?" she asked.
"Yes, oh yes, oh yes!" Ahadi said without even thinking, then stopped herself when she realized what she just did.
"Good. Vitani, do you want to lead the way?"

Vitani nodded. "Of course. Let's go practice," she said. She then looked at Ahadi. "Remember that I am your aunt and if you need anything, you can always come to me," she said.
