Kovu glanced up at Pride Rock which towered over all of their surroundings. They can't see us from there, He thought. "Go ahead," He said. "Just keep hidden, if Simba finds out, he take off my head. He doesn't take too kindly to rogues. Trust me, I would know." Kovu turned back and continued walking. "Let's go Kiara, before we are seen."

"Okay," Kiara said, smiling sweetly. She began walking up Pride Rock. She laid down on the promontory and closed her eyes, enjoying the warm sun.

Ethan nodded to Kovu and began searching quietly for a small rat or bird or something. Maybe he'd find an ostrich egg! He continued his hunt with a new confidence. Kovu had allowed him to hunt in the pridelands! "Maybe when those two take the throne, I'll be allowed to stay for good!" he grinned. He was beginning to feel like he had a connection with Simba's pride, even if it was very, very minor. Having caught a good-sized bird, he carried it to the outlands, and under his favorite dead tree, began to fill his belly.

Vitani nodded at Simba as he left and then stood up herself. She figured she had done enough feeling sorry for herself for one day and was feeling a little hungry anyway since she hadn't eaten breakfast yet. She climbed down Pride Rock and proceeded to a nearby field where she was able to find some decent game. Not everything about the Pridelands was bad, at least she never had to worry about going hungry anymore. She spotted a smallish antelope in the distance and crouched down ready to stalk her prey.

Nala was getting restless waiting for the old mandrill to get there. Her patience was rewarded though as she caught his scent in the wind. From the looks of it he should arrive there shortly.

Thamini turned around and saw Simba walking away.He quietly roared then went away,back to Pride Rock.He saw Kiara here,sleeping.He walked up to her with no sound."Simba probably thinks that I want to be her mate...Nah!I don't care about females who have mates already..."he thought and sat down,looking at her."But,maybe that isn't so bad idea.Yeah!I'll try...Hehe...I'll try..."he thought with a smile on his face then walked away.

Kivuli looked and Dash, then Lobo 'We leave now, it will take a goof few hours to reach the outalnds' Kivuli began to walk off heading towards the Outlands

Nala finally caught a glimpse of the elder's white haired head making it's way back into the tree. He smiled to see her there for he knew she had seen what was drawn on the wall. As he approached her she gave him an affectionate hug then proceeded to talk, "Rafiki, I've come to see you to express some concerns I have... something has been bothering me deep inside and I don't know what it is." She looked down at her paws sighing, "and then I come here to find this mysterious scratched out drawing on the wall, what does it all mean?"

Rafiki sat down cross-legged and played with his various paints, "ahh my dear Queen, only you know the answer to this question. You have unfinished business from your past which is with you now, and only you must fix it."

She looked at him, her brow furrowed, "my past? What does that mean?"

"Think harder," he said placing his hand on her head, "I know you will remember, now go, your mate is looking for you."

Nala thanked the old one and climbed out of the tree, heading back to her home and the pride, yet his words echoed in her head. *My past... it couldn't possibly be...*

Lobo smirked and followed Kivuli and Dash in silence.
After a while he could faintly make out the towering termite mounds of the Outlands.
"We're nearly there...we should be there within the hour..."
Lobo could feel the adrenaline pumping through him already, but he knew not to let it get the better of him or it might ruin Kivulis chances of over throwing Simba.

Simba felt a little tired, even though he had just woke up. He decided to go back to PrideRock, and look for Nala while sitting at the top of it. He could see the entire Pridelands from there, and since he didn't want to walk around anymore it would be perfect.

As he reached PrideRock he noticed that Vitani wasn't there anymore, and that noone had come back yet. Not that he minded, maybe the peace and quiet would be good for him.
