Marjani looked at Adeola and said to her, "Is it one of those...uh guy things Adeola?" She was truly confused why Ekwu was defending the other male.

Ekwu looked toward him and said, "You have been around here forever. Now when you saw my father do those horrible things did you not want to kill him? Exile him? And indeed it came to pass that way. However guess what my mother went with him and he...changed. It seems I am more like my mother than I realize for she saw something in my father while I see a second chance for this lion here." He looked trying to show some kind of wisdom in his words.

"Ad, your decision" Naki said looking at her, trying not to influence one of the most defining decisions of her life. even at her young age

@VitanisMate: "Just let Neobi deal with it" she replied to Marjani and then looking at Lesedi like she meant the same to be said to her as well. She nodded and sighed out, looking over to see Neobi and Ekwu speaking.

"I wanted to kill your father because he was not only putting your grandmother, but also your mother and the rest of the pride in danger. If I kept him around as long as I did, something more could have happened and I didn't want to risk losing the family I have worked hard to keep around". Neobi looked over his body. His once nearly untouched body when he was young was dirtied with scars and scrapes, and cuts. He fought a lot of battles and matches in his days to keep everyone safe. The only scars he couldn't look at were the ones on his snout going up to his eye, that came from his mate's brother when he fought him.

@Nakisisa: Zazu flew away and she looked over at Naki. Her decision. She couldn't make a bad decision when it came to her sister, could she? "Whatever the decision I make, are you coming with me?" She asked. She knew for sure her mate would be with her if she had to look after her family, but she was unsure if he would want to go looking for her sister. Malaika, was of course, in love with Naki, and she wouldn't be too happy when she found out Adeola got him instead.

Marjani nodded and looked toward Neobi and Ekwu talk it out. She looked to Adeola and said to Adeola, "Will Ekwu be okay?" She looked toward him wondering what he was thinking. "Will we let Kalaiba stay?"

Ekwu looked at him and sighed. "I know all of that but I mean..." he sighed, "To quote the words of my mother, 'I have grown up now.' Neobi that lion over there couldn't be any worse than my father in his own crimes. And I am sorry to say this to you guys but at least you had loving parents, mine were both dead within a few weeks. I never remember them. I can't remember." He decided to change the subject and asked him a question. "As a uh guy who would you want to spend the rest of your life with? Marjani or Lesedi?" He looked toward Neobi knowing it was a strange question but it was still eating him from the inside.

"Im with you until the end" Naki said. "All I need to know is how you want me to react to your sister" Naki asked

@VitanisMate: Adeola looked at Lesedi like Marjani did and waited for the response. Lesedi took in a breath, "I know he'll be okay". She then looked over to Kalaiba and her expression went sour, "him, I can't say".

Neobi rose his eyebrow. "I don't know Marjani as well as I do Lesedi, you know Ekwu. But it was an interesting story with my mate. Her and her sister both wanted me. Phew was that a battle field. But when I looked into Sethunya's eyes as compared to Tafari's eyes, I saw everything I wanted and needed in a lioness as opposed to only some things from each lioness. And love is about compromise. Sethunya didn't like my way of handling most situations, and she wasn't very pleased with the manners I had that weren't exactly her style. But she looked past it, just like I looked past some things with her and I found the heart".

He rose to his feet and looked down at the young male, "who is more of a friend to you as compared to a mate?"

@Nakisisa: "Uhh..." she replied, looking up at the sky to fetch an answer. "How about...improvise?" She finally answered. With that, she sped off past Naki and headed back to the Pridelands. How were they going to handle it? Malaika would probably hate her...

Naki followed her still outpacing her, yet he slowed because of the wound. "What do you mean Improvise?" Naki shouted to her because of the wind.

@Nakisisa: "Uh...good question" she yelled back. How were they going to go about something like that? "Well, I guess all we can do is telling her the truth and then hope for the best?" She hollered back, in hopes he would be alright with that decision.

Marjani looked toward Ekwu and nodded to Adeola. Well she was still trying to figure out the situation that had erupted in the last few seconds. She looked at Lesedi and said, "I think we can both agree that if he does something again to Ekwu we shall get him for it."

Kalaiba heard his name and gulped knowing that they meant him.

Ekwu nodded and thanked Neobi. "Thank you for your wise advice Neobi. I will be sure to take it to heart." He came before the lionesses and nodded. "Marjani, Adeola." He then came before Lesedi and looked toward her. "Lesedi is it okay if we talk for a second." He walked away a bit and came to a piece of grass a few hundred meters away. He looked toward Lesedi and smiled trying to be friendly. "Lesedi uh I notice that the other lion seems to have a crush on you. I am sure you have noticed." He looked at her not knowing what she was going to say. He hoped his comment would not make her upset in any way.

"Ok" Naki shouted, "We should be back within ten minutes at this speed" Naki roared back
