Dakari looked at Mzuri, "Nothing. Why?" Mufalfa told him to take it slow, and that's what he was going to do.

Marini smiled up at him and asked, "Are you going to sleep too?"

Mzuri just shook her head. "Well I thought you were thinking of something."

Mufalfa smiled. "I will but you need the sleep more."

Dakari then laid down but continued to look up at the stars. He really wanted Mzuri to lie down next to him but figured she would find it strange if he asked her that.

Marini then placed her head down on her paws, "Good night."

Mufalfa smiled. "Goodnight." He looked at Marini and was glad someone so beautiful was his mate. Once Dakari returned he would ask if his strategy worked.

Mzuri then laid down but not next to Dakari. "So...what do you want to talk about?"

Dakari continued looking up at the stars. "Oh, I dunno..." he then looked at her, "You can tell me if something's bothering you or if you want to talk about anything. I'll always try to help and listen."

Mzuri was confused by his last statement but said, "Uh okay. Thank you. Anyway I am going to sleep. Goodnight Dakari." She went ahead and walked away and laid down to go to sleep near Marini. Mufalfa waited for Dakari.

Dakari also wanted to go to sleep, but when he saw Mufalfa waiting for him he figured he should talk to him. He went over to the lion, but didn't know what to exactly tell him.

Mufalfa said, "So...was what I said successful? Don't worry if it didn't work this time just keep doing what I said and eventually she'll like you."

Dakari said, "Well... you said first time do nothing, second time place a paw around her shoulder and third time try to kiss her... so I didn't try any of those. I started with a compliment like you said and I also told her that I'll always be there for her." he wondered whether what he did was good.

Mufalfa smiled and said, "Yes good job. Next time though before you place a paw around her shoulder you need to say that she is always right first. I am sure she was a little confused. Don't worry eventually she will be the one kissing you." Mufalfa started laughing. "Do you think Marini and I always liked eachother?"
