"They'll die too!" The she-leopard snarled, leaping up and landing infront of Mio, digging her fangs into his chest.

[Tora]

Simba was tired of the pain and roared. "I've given you to many chances to surrender! It's time to kill or be killed." Simba got free of Jengo's grip and latched his teeth onto Jengo exposed neck. Simba yanked and pulled wrestling Jengo to the ground by his neck. Simba bit harder, tasting blood as it entered his mouth.

"NO!" yelled Shinova as he jumped on the she-leopards back and sank his teeth into her shoulder and claws into her back. Fear was something that had left Shinova. He had acquired the strength to overcome fear, and so he had found courage; the courage few cubs had.

Mio roared in pain. He was losing more blood. He was becoming light headed and fainted.

[Shadowfax]

Jengo fell to the ground, Simba's teeth embedded in his neck. He felt the life being chocked out of him and the blood was oozing from the wounds in his neck. The stubborn king smirked at Simba.

"You.. can't kill me..." He said, but the leopard soon felt his eyes close and his world blacken.

His head lulled to the side and he ceased moving.

Seeing Shinova leapt to Mio's aid, the two brothers followed him and grabbed Jengo's mate by scruff of the neck.

"It's over Kanti! Your mate is dead" One growled.

[Tora]

Simba released Jengo. "It is done." Simba announced and fell down almost collapsing. Simba was sick on the inside. He hated to kill. He didn't want to be the executioner of anyone. He was against killing, but it was something that had to be done.

Shinova jumped off when the other two leopards had restrained her. "Kanti what do you hope to gain by trying to kill Mio? You think that is going to bring back the life you had? After all it was you who threw your life away. You are the one who was so arrogant that you told Jengo about Mio after you tried to kill me. You can surrender and live here or you can be banished. Which do you choose?"

Nala ran to her mates side and gently pushed him back onto his feet.

"You did what needed to be done" She assured him.

"I'll never surrender! And you cannot banish me, I am the queen of this jungle!" Kanti roared, hitting both male leopards in the face and rushing off into the jungle, three other leopards at her tail.

The other lionesses began to lick their wounds and tend to one another. Meeko walked over to Shinova, wearily looking at the two leopards who were standing next to the young cub.

"Should you ever need us, just call out and we will come running" They assured Shinova, before turning and heading off into the jungle in the opposite direction Kanti had taken.

As Mio was fading in and out of consciousnesses, he was thinking about his family and wondering if he would see them again. He was still losing blood from his chest where he took the last hit.

Back in the den, Nova saw the sun rising and she looked over at the sleeping forms of Rayn, Ace and Vex. She smiled gently, and braced herself should any leopards come to harm them if they got past Simba's defenses. Nova was desperate to help with the fight and would do whatever needed to be done if it meant protecting her cubs.

Hours later, nothing came and she wondered if they had won? Or if they had all died? She gulped. What if Mio had fallen? How was she going to raise her family? What if Shinova was gone? Would she ever forgive herself? The questions and thoughts kept coming and in the end she roared with frustration.

All Mio could think about was he can't die and leave Nova to raising their children. Rayn would lose it if I die. Ace wouldn't have a father figure to look up to. Vex well let's just say is like her mom.

Shinova thanked the leopards as they left. After grabbing Meeko in his mouth. Shinova walked over to the waterfall next to the den to wash off the blood. "I heard you like to swim." Shinova laughed when out of fun he tossed Meeko into the pool.

"I hurt so much Nala I just want to lie down." Simba groaned.
