Siari nuzzled her stepmother again. "Thanks mom..."
"Vitani?" The peincess withdrew her head and saw her father standing to their right.

Nuru: Well....would you want cubs?

Vitani froze
Vitani: Kopa?! .....How much did you hear?!

Mufasa nodded. "I would, but..." Well, it was obvious.

Siari interrupted before her father could say anything. "Father, whatever you heard, I-"
"Its fine." said he with a small smile. "Would you mind going back to the den and keeping an eye on your siblings?" The princess nodded and left slowly.

Nuru: .....You know.....you two could always ask a lioness to have them for you.

Vitani: Kopa, I am so sorry!!! I was stupid and jealous and angry and.....and.....
She started crying again
Vitani: Whatever you're going to do.....just do it quick...

Mufasa looked confused. "What? Just like that?" he asked. It sounded a little weird. "Carrying cubs is a big deal, Nuru... And once they're born, I mean... I don't think we can just expect her to hand them over..." This all sounded like too much to ask.

Kopa walked over to Vitani with a small smile. "I'm not going to do anything..." he said softly, licking the tears off her cheek.

Nuru: Well....you wouldn't ask some rouge or something. You could ask around and see if any would like to do it for you. And would be willing to let the two of you keep them to yourselves! This is a big pride! There's bound to be someone! And even though its a tall order.....the lionesses in this pride are really nice and caring! Plus it doesn't hurt to be royalty!

Vitani: What?! .....Why not? .....I'm just a monster!

Mufasa thought about it. "But... Do you think a mother will be fine with not being involved in her cub's life like this?" It was true that there were way more males than females in the Pride Lands... Surely many of them wanted to be mothers. So while this made it more likely for them to agree to have cubs, would they just give them up?

Kopa hugged his mate gently. "You're not..."

Nuru: It's possible! Don't give up!

Vitani: I'm so sorry I was jealous.....you know how I was.....to me...you were my everything.....and then someone took you away from me.....I couldn't handle it! .....I just wanted.....to be the one that made you happy.....your soul mate...

Mufasa smiled a small smile. "I wonder if Zuni has given this any thought..."

Kopa licked his mate's forehead. "I'm the happiest lion in the world thabks to you." he said softly, nuzzling her.
