[PRIVATE] Taming the Lioness's Heart

Grunge, still new to the Pridelands, was quite unfamiliar with the layout and had no real idea where to go. But he sniffed the air and followed his nose to what smelled like a good place. As he walked, once the two were alone, he confided a little in Adeola. I've never been... touched before... by someone who didn't want to kill me... he said, thinking of when Malaika was all over him.

@VitanisMate: Lesedi watched Marjani walk off, but as soon as he spoke and she heard the word 'sugar' come out of his mouth, she got to her feet and walked past him. The lioness was showing him that she was not going to be 'sweet talked' by someone like him, talking like that. And she wasn't going to be one of the ones who would fall for his antics. And if he ever hoped of getting into a relationship (with any lioness who respected herself, at least), he would have to change his attitude.

@SnowyCheetah: Adeola looked forward, keeping her eyes on the ground ahead of her. "Explains a lot" she replied, remembering back to the scene. He looked like he was ready to push her off and run if he needed to. "The only thing Malaika is capable of killing is a bad mood". The lioness spoke the truth, being the older sister and knowing her for a long time.

the lionesses didn't had other choise but to retreat, after that, Kamy felt relief that the danger was over, then she say to Adeola "we scare them mommy"

Ekwu approached both Marjani and Lesedi along with the newcomer. "So who is the new guy? Hello there my friend and welcome to the pride. My grandmother is the leader here so talk to here if you need to join." He tried to show he was friendly by smiling to the newcomer. "I see you have met Marjani and Lesedi? I hope you are welcome here."

Kalaiba cursed seeing he had competition. "Well you dork no offense but I don't need your help so go crawl back to your little man cave where you belong."

@SilverSimba01: Adeola smiled and she walked past the others with Kamy close at foot. She was happy they were getting out unscaved and in one piece, just the way she liked to stay.

@VitanisMate: Lesedi narrowed her brow at the male's remark to Ekwu. She was not fond of the male at first sight and now he was going after Ekwu who was the leader's grandson and thinking he was all that right off the bat. The light lioness stepped in front of this Kalaiba character and looked up at him with her casual blue eyes, "that 'dork' is the leader's grandson. So you're not doing so well for yourself, buddy".

Lesedi turned around to let her tail slap him lightly in the face before she urged Ekwu to walk with her, "ignore him. He's just scared of you" she told him, giving him a reassuring smile.

Marjani looked at Kalaiba angrilly. "You leave him alone! If anything you are the dork!" She then just turned away refusing to look at him. She was intent on defending Ekwu if need be.

Ekwu was a little shocked at Kalaiba's remark but shrugged it off. "Marjani, Lesedi it is alright. I hope you find this pride inviting my friend good luck." He listened to Lesedi and laughed at her remark. "I have no idea what he could be scared of. No he is just trying to push me but it will not work for I will make sure he will make it in the pride. Maybe then he will leave me alone." He looked at Lesedi and smiled.

@VitanisMate: "Says you" she replied, looking over her shoulder at Kalaiba and giving him a warning look. "Well come with us if you want in the pride. You're going to have to meet Ekwu's grandmother sooner or later".

She turned her attention back to forward and walked beside the male she was fighting for and the female a little ways away from her who had the same motive.

Soon, Adeola came into view and she looked over to see the others. A small smile was plastered across her face, "how are you all doing?"

then Kamy look back at Mariam and stop, she knew that she wasn't evil as she though, after all, she help her to find Adeola, so Kamy tell Adeola "Wait mommy, I wanna do something", then she walk to Mariam and tell her "Thank you to find my mommy", Mariam just smile at the cub and say "You're welcome Kamy"

Kalaiba laughed and said, "You lucky dork having two sweet albeit foolish lionesses fighting over you." He laughed and looked at the leader. "I have come to join. I only ask that I be kept away from that incompetant fool, that dork right there."

Ekwu looked at Adeola and said, "Ignore him. Yes he wishes to join and he has my endorsement to join but of course he needs yours." He looked at Adeola showing her he agreed to Kalaiba's joining.

Kalaiba looked at Ekwu and told him, "Lucky that I have a blessing from you, now go back to your little mancave with your ugly self like I said!"

@VitanisMate: Adeola had had enough. Even though she didn't know the male, she wasn't liking him at all. Before he could say one more thing, she slapped his face so hard it could have taken the mane right off his body. A silence fell through the lionesses and lions, while Lesedi scoffed a little knowing it was coming to the jerk. "Pull yourself together or get out. That's how we do things around here, now which one is it going to be?" Adeola questioned.

It was obvious the lioness was aging, but the strength that she still held in her power was enough to mistake her for a young adult. Lesedi stuck close to Ekwu and looked at Kalaiba, waiting to hear his answer like Adeola was.
