[Private Roleplay with Baofeng]

[Iri]

"Duh. The dead fish won't just flop up for you," Xi-Feng teased. She went out into the snow and formed a large heap of snow. "This will help keep the excessive wind and snow away from us," she explained. She stepped carefully onto the ice. "Follow me."

[Baofeng]

Baofeng nodded and followed Xi-Feng.

[Iri]

Xi-Feng crouched low on the ice. "This doesn't hurt your paws if you know what you're doing," she said.

[Baofeng]

"Okay," Baofeng replied.

[Iri]

"What you do is you unsheathe your claws and start clawing at the ice. If you scrape your claws against it, it doesn't work and it makes the most awful sound. What you do want to do is hit the ice, not scrape it. After it seems like there's a weak spot in the ice, start striking it with your paws. Like this." Xi-Feng started clawing at the ice, and after a few hits on it, she struck it with her paws and she broke a few fish free.

[Baofeng]

Baofeng nodded. "I'll try," he said as he began to do what Xi-Feng had instructed.

[Iri]

"Good," Xi-Feng said. "Good job." Three fish, two small and one large, were sitting on the ice.

[Baofeng]

"So how many more do you think we should get?" Baofeng asked looking at the fish.

[Iri]

"A few more," Xi-Feng said. "Not too many." She started striking the ice again.

[Baofeng]

"Okay," Baofeng agreed as he began striking the ice as well.
