The new danger in the land

Zuni snuggled close. Enjoying the time with his big brother

(When does he....make his move? And it is Mufasa that does it...right?)

(Yeah. But it'll take him time. You know how nervous he can be.)

Mufasa eventually began to dream. In the dream were him and Zuni. For some reason it was really cold, so the two of them snuggled closely together as they often did on such occasions. Nothing too bizarre. The feeling of their soft fur as they rested closely together was as nice as ever.
Then they looked into each other's eyes and Mufasa could feel himself getting lost in them. They were so deep and rich in color. Suddenly he placed a foreleg around his adoptive brother's body, pulling him closer and, without so much as the slightest amount of hesitation, leaned over and began to nuzzle him lovingly
Zuni returned the gesture and the two of them slowly nuzzled more and more eagerly, with Mufasa eventually starting to nibble on his stepbrother's neck, pushing him onto his side as he did. Then their lips connected and Mufasa woke up in a flash, breathing heavily as his cheeks turned completely red in embarrassment and confusion. He realized he was still cuddled with Zuni and immediately stood up.

Zuni woke up when Mufasa shot up
Zuni: WHAT?!? What is it?! What's wrong?!

It took Mufasa a few moments to find his voice. "I-I... Uh..." He cleared his throat. "I just... I had a bad dream..." he lied. Bad dream? It was amazing! No! Why did he think of it as amazing?? He was a male and Zuni was a male too! He shouldn't be thinking this sort of things about another lion!

[Adofo]

Zuni stood up and nuzzled his brother.
Zuni: It's okay...I'm here.

Mufasa tensed up as his stepbrother nuzzled him. A voice inside his head told him to return the affection. 'Zuni's trying to comfort you. Go on. He won't suspect a thing. You know you want to.'
"Th-thanks..." he said with a small smile, withdrawing his head aftet a few seconds because he was too worried he'd end up getting carried away.

[Adofo]

(Step brother?)

Zuni: You're welcome!
He gave his brother a quick kiss on the cheek

(Right, Zuni's parents aren't Mufasa's stepparents... My bad. I jist like to use a range of words rather than the same one over and over - adopted, in this case)

Mufasa's cheeks heated up even more. "U-um..." He cleared his throat. "So, er, what do you want to do now?"

[Adofo]

Zuni: Let's wrestle!
He tackled his brother and pinned him down.

(He's not making this easy for him! Lol)

Mufasa was taken by surprise. He lay there for a moment, staring into Zuni's eyes, before quickly forcing himself to play along before things got weird. He began to wriggle in an attempt to break free, using the opportunity to avoid eye contact.
