Kiara and Kovu got to the watering hole seeing a Hippo in the water

the hippo jerked his head towards the princess
Kiara: um hey sorry to disturb you swim um have you seen the king around? he is missing
Hippo: no I haven't sorry

Kiara looked at each other at a loss on what to do next, kiara was starting to look more in distress

Tua went off with Vitani and Adofo went off with Mbali.
Adofo: Aunt Mbali.....I picked you for a reason.
He said while he was scanning around for any clues.

He obviously had sadness in his voice

Mbali flicked her tail. "You're right." She snorted. "I disagree with my parents. Mufasa shouldn't have been king, because then he would not have had a say on what we'd do with you."

Vitani had gone off on her own, and decided to hunt while she was at her search.
