"Max!" he shouted, but with no use. she wasn't going to stop for anything."great, now I have to go in there." he thought to himself as he ran in after her. People were screaming while running for their lives, large metal machines swerved out of the way. During the commotion Zill lost track of Max, then he stopped in front of a screaming two-legged. He shouted while pointing one of the boom-sticks at him.

[Fang]

Max jumped at the two-legger roaring angrly and showing her teeth. She bit down on the gun and yanked it out of his hands, she tossed it and roarded again. Alarm flashed under her pelt as she saw more people coming. "This way!" Max muttered and roared she jumped on top of the man, she grabbed his shirt in her teeth and tossed him and the other humans. She picked up a dead chicken in her mouth and ran forward.

Zill willingly ran after Max, shots fired at the two of them as they fled."This is exactily why we shouldn't have run in here!" he shouted while jumping over people who'd fallen onto the ground.

[Fang]

"I know..." she said through the feathers. Dogs barked angrly at them as they fled. She jumped upand landed in the mud, she thoughtfor a second and quickly rolled in the mud. "quick! roll in the mud! It will cover our scent from the dogs an allow us to sneak around without being seen!"

"okay..." Zill replied, he didn't like to get dirty, but if it ment staying alive then he could care less. Quickly rolling around in the mud Zill got up and spun around, the dogs and humans were not far behind them.

"Get the woman and children into their houses!" one of the two-legs shouted to another as he pulled the trigger on his gun.

[Fang]

"Come on." Max said, she padded slowly and switly from rock to rock thankful there was alot of cover for them to hind in. Max padded into a barn and fell into one of the hay stacks, the place looked abandoned and it smelled of rats. "I think we should stay here till they leave." She tossed the chicken down. "want some?" she asked.

Following Max ,while staying behind anything that could keep him hidden, into the barn Zill finally had the time to catch his breath; his heart beat steadily went back to its normal rate."Sure, all of that running made me a bit hungry." he replied as he removed one of its legs and started to eat.

[Fang]

"I think we should get some rest, we will not be able to get away if we don't. Besides we should be safe here." Max said, she pulled some meat off the dead chicken and rolled on her back and yawned. Her heart beat was back to normal, and she finally felt the pain in her legs from running.

"I hope so, I cou..couldn", Zill stopped in mid sentence to yawn,"Couldn't run anywhere right now if we we're forced to." Walking over to one of the mounds of hay Zill layed streached then layed down on his side. He lifted his head up,"Hey Max, could you promise me something?"

[Fang]

Max dug her way into the hay, she poked her head out at the sound of Zill's voice "Yeah!" She said with a smile, shaking off some of the hay on her head.
