[Adofo]

Adofo: Ugh....great gift! Morning breath! .....well.....thank you son!
*He wraps his arms around his son and squeezes tight.*
Adofo: Oh you're getting so big! *kiss* I love you son!
Vitani: Hey Adofo, I think Simba and Haramu have something they want to show you! Right?

[NukasMomentofGlory]

(*quiet giggling*)

"Daaad," Haramu protested. But he nudged him back, placing his paws around his shoulders to complete the hug. "I love you, too." At Vitani's reminder, Haramu perked. "Oh, yeah! Let me just..." He pulled himself out of his father's embrace, his excuse of a mane spiked upwards from his grip, and he bolted for the exit, nearly bowling into Simba as he stood at the entrance.

He smiled at his nephew, then looked to Adofo.
"Good morning, Adofo. And happy birthday, you old fart!"

"Uncle Simba..." Haramu urged, gesturing towards the outside of the cave.

Simba perked.
"Yes. Adofo, we've got something we'd like to show you."

[Adofo]

*Adofo gets up off the floor and heads to the mouth of the cave.*
Adofo: Hey, just remember, you're 3 months behind me! So you're not too far behind from being an old fart yourself!
Nala: Okay. Dofo, close your eyes!
*Adofo shuts his eyes. The all guide him out to the tip of priderock. He can hear that animals are gathered around Priderock but are trying their best to be quiet.*
Adofo: Can I open them now?

Simba smiled and looked down at the animals. Haramu gestured for them to be quiet before he moved around to Adofo's side. With a nod from Simba, Haramu grinned.
"All right. Open 'em!"

[Adofo]

*Adofo opened his eyes. All the animals in the land were gathered around a huge twenty made out of dead trees and huge rocks. Birds flew away and around the sky. Adofo had a huge smile on his face.*
Adofo: Oh wow! This is amazing! Who did this?!

Haramu and Simba exchanged glances and Haramu gestured towards him with his head. Simba chuckled.
"Okay, maybe I came up with it. But you helped, Haramu. He stayed up really late making sure everything would work out the way it should. Perfectionist."

Haramu grinned, padding up to his dad and standing up on his hind legs to nudge his chest.
"You like it?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: No......I love it!
* He picks up Simba and hugs them both as tight as he can.*
Adofo: I have the best brother and son anyone could ever hope for! Thank you both! I'll remember this day till the day I die! I love you guys!
*Hours later, just like every year, Adofo is sitting at his old planes wreckage.*

[Adofo]

Adofo: No......I love it!
* He picks up Simba and hugs them both as tight as he can.*
Adofo: I have the best brother and son anyone could ever hope for! Thank you both! I'll remember this day till the day I die! I love you guys!
*Hours later, just like every year, Adofo is sitting at his old planes wreckage.*

Haramu and Simba grinned, nuzzling Adofo.
"We love you, too!"

Haramu lay at the edge of priderock and watched his father sitting alone. He sighed quietly, but loudly enough for Simba to hear apparently, since the king trotted towards him and sat beside him.
"Feeling down?"

Haramu looked up at Simba and pushed himself to his paws, shaking his head.
"Nah. I'm okay. It's just..." He looked back at his father and sulked slightly. "I thought he liked his gift, is all..."

Simba followed Haramu's gaze to Adofo and sighed gently.
"I see... Why not talk to him about it?"

"I don't want to disturb him..."

"I think it'll be okay. Come on." He got to his paws and started down priderock towards Adofo, Haramu following closely behind him.
