"So you think you'll eat this whole thing by yourselves then? Okay.. I'll just sit over here and watch" Vex said, knowing they would never eat the whole thing alone.

Rayn seemed to have other ideas though and was determined not to let Vex have any of the kill. She began to tear large mouthfuls off, her muzzle getting stained with blood as she ate.

Tago and Lyra looked on puzzled as Rayn began to tear the food up. They too took some of the meat, but not perhaps as vigorously as Rayn.

Vex shook her head and remained smirking slightly as Rayn began to tear at the meat. She looked at Ace who seemed out of it.

"Come on then! Get some food!" She urged her brother.

Lyra looked at Ace, and felt sorry for him. She smiled reassuringly 'It isn't your fault Ace, you didn't mean to do it'.

Tago smiled also 'No of course not, you didn't realize we went for this one. It was only a mistake'.

Ace left the body peacefully on the ground. He soon came over to eat some food. He was a bit better, but he still had a lot on his mind. He soon just forgot about it and started eating some more.

"Still feeling hungry then?" Vex teased as she saw Rayn struggling.

She watched Ace and the other two eating their share, but it was still a large carcass and Rayn was showing signs of becoming full. She had inherited all of Nova's stubbornness, whilst Vex was the odd ball of the family.

"Yep... I haven't even started" Rayn said after a while.

Tago and Lyra both laughed quietly. Tago then looked at Vex and smiled 'I'm sure you can have some too' he stried to chew some off for her to eat.
Lyra laughed again 'Yeah, but be quick before it is all gone'. She swallowed as she continued to eat the meat hungrily.

Vex looked at Tago and laughed somewhat.

"Oh no, Rayn says I didn't help so I can't have any.. Besides.. She's told me she will eat the rest of it so I wouldn't want to spoil her appetite" Vex said, looking at Rayn on her last words.

The young lioness ingnored her and continued eating stubbornly.

'Ok, I feel a bit guilty though' Tago said a little sadly.

"Don't worry.. She'll give up soon" Vex said with a wink.

She knew her sister too well and she knew she would never eat it all.
