Simba nodded and began to head home. "Let's just hope that the future is a happy one," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

Sarafina nodded. Pumbaa had been listening to the whole conversation in silence. "Hey, uh, Simba, does that mean that Scar is Kiara's grandfather as well?" he asked.

Simba looked back at Pumbaa. "No, my friend. Scar is not Kiara's grandfather as well. He gave up any right to being a family member when he murdered my father," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

"Oh, okay." Pumbaa said. Sarafina walked ahead, wanting to get back to Nala as quickly as possible. Even though her daughter was an adult now, she always tried to be by her side almost all the time.

Finally, they arrived. Simba rushed to Nala and Kiara. "How's Kiara?" he asked.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala looked up at Simba. "She's fine. She was awake a few minutes ago, looking around, but must have became bored, and went back to sleep."

Simba smiled. "Now to begin training her to be a queen. We have so much to do: train her to hunt, teach her to lead and, one day, find a suitor for her," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

"Simba, calm down. It'll still be awhile before we can do any of that. She doesn't even know how to walk yet." Nala replied. "You should just lie down and relax your mind."

Simba looked away for a long moment. "I must be ready for any situation. Remember, I only had my father's guidance for a short while. The rest of my cubhood was spent avoiding responsibility. I'm trying to make up for that," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala walked up to him. "I know. But I also know you'll do just fine."
Kiara woke up and tried walking over to Nala and Simba, but kept wobbling and falling. Nala smiled at the little cub, then picked her up by the scruff and put her inbetween Simba's front legs.
