"I had a nightmare about the stampede that killed my dad," Simba explained, hoping that Kidogo would understand.

As soon as Kidogo heard Simba tell him what happen, he felt much more solemn. "Oh, right..." he replied, nothing else coming to his mind in his sleepy state. He had, however, managed to open both of his eyes and he gave Simba a concerned look. "Well, try and just get some rest. You can't always get those nightmares every time you go to sleep." Kidogo added, trying to reassure Simba. He closed his eyes again and tried to go to sleep again. Despite his tiredness, he couldn't and instead just lay there, resting, with his eyes firmly closed.

Simba cuddled into a ball and attempted to fall back asleep.

Kidogo sighed under his breath, making sure nobody heard it. He gradually opened both of his eyes, letting them get used to the light. After a short duration of time, Kidogo had opened his eyes normally and was now staring into open space. His ears twitched every once in a while in response to random sound now and again. Eventually, he looked towards Kasa for a few seconds before averting his attention to Simba. He now knew why they had both ran from the Pridelands and he wondered if he would ever get to see those lands. For now, though, he just needed to focus on the present.

Unable to go to sleep, Kidogo pushed himself up from the floor and let out a large yawn while stretching. Straight after this, Kidogo walk down towards Kasa. "Hey, Kasa. Feel like exploring the jungle a bit?" he asked, turning to Simba. "You can come, too if you want. I understand if you just want to get sine rest, though. Timon and Pumbaa are here as well anyway."

Simba looked up. "I think I'll stay. I'm very tired," he said.

Kidogo simply nodded, understanding entirely why Simba would want to stay where he was. He walked past Kasa and lightly hit her on the back of her head with his paw in a friendly and playful manner. "Come on Kasa. Or do I have to explore the Jungle on my own?" Kidogo added a mock sad tone and acted very melancholic. Of course, this was just to try and get Kasa to come with him and explore the Jungle.

Kasa stood up, "You know you would get lost," Kasa said before walking towards a tree. She looked over her shoulder, "We can go hunting." Kasa suggested for them to do later.
Jake sat down on simba's upper back and relaxed

Kidogo watched Kasa stand up and walk past him. He quickly followed her lead and sighed knowing that she was probably right when she said that he would probably get lost if he decided to explore. His mood brightened when Kasa suggested that they should go hunting. Kidogo felt that he needed something to eat. Just as he was about to agree with Kasa, a thought struck him. "Wait...what can we hunt in the jungle?"

" Mice, hares, small birds and some other stuff." Kasa said before walking to the waterfall to get a little water.

Kidogo shrugged and followed Kasa down to the waterfall. Caracals didn't really need a lot to eat, anyway. Perhaps life in the jungle wouldn't be so bad after all. Training Simba would be quite challenging, but it had to be done.
