Vitani cocked her head to one side, considering the hunting option that Fadhili had just given. It would definitely be something that would help shake off some of the rustiness and help to generally keep them occupied. Obviously, they wouldn't be able to do it every day, but still, it was something to do. Hunting seemed fun, anyway and it would be their first hunt in the Pridelands since taking it. Vitani smiled in anticipation and nodded once at Fadhili. "Yah, sure. You wanna go now?" She asked, walking towards her friend. She felt like she needed to release some energy, and hunting was a brilliant way to do it.

Vah's eyes widened in surprise as soon as he felt Kiara's lips connect with his, but he relaxed almost straight away and continued to passionately kiss her, dissapointed that their kiss came to an end. He was in no way downheartened by that, though; the feelings he had for Kiara at this point were never ending. Vah mimicked her actions and stared into her eyes. He couldn't possibly hope to explain how much Kiara meant to him. How much he loved her..."Kiara, I...I feel exactly the same way. You've made me the happiest lion alive...I'm the luckiest one, too." Vah whispered to Kiara, never letting his gaze avert from her eyes. He could lie here with Kiara for ever, sharing each other's body heat for warmth.

Fadhili smiled at her friend and nodded, "Yeah, sure." she noticed a few lionesses from the pridelands pass by some distance from them. For a moment the pridelanders looked at Vitani and Fadhili with both disgusted and terrified looks, before carrying on and walking away. Fadhili just sighed to herself, 'I feel like a monster...' she looked at Vitani, who hadn't noticed anything because she had her gaze locked on Fadhili. "Let's go." without waiting for her friend's approval or what not, Fadhili picked a random direction and began walking slowly.

Kiara flushed at Vah's words, "Really?" she asked with a happy smile, though her tone didn't carry any sign of doubt about what the lion had said to her a moment ago. She spoke up once more without waiting for his answer as she pretty much knew it, "I'm the lucky one. I couldn't have asked for a better mate." she said, before leaning over and kissing him once more. This time however she didn't break the kiss after a few moments and continued kissing him passionately. She was more than sure that Vah would also make a great father if that time ever came, but she felt nervous about bringing that subject up just yet.

Vitani narrowed her eyes in curiousity. She noticed that something seemed to be bothering Fadhili, but what it was that was bothering her didn't quite make itself known to Vitani. Being good friends with the lioness that was standing in front of her made it easier to recognise when something was out of place. Vitani strolled up to Fadhili and as she started walking off to hunt something. "Hey, something bothering ya?" Vitani asked in her usual casual manner. She wasn't really that worried by Fadhili at the moment. It was probably nothing, but it's always best to find out and be sure.

Vah felt his heart rate soar and couldnt help but let his smile grow while listening to Kiara. There was no doubt in his mind that this day was the most unforgettable moment of his life. He had never been in love before, or felt has if he had ever needed to have someone to love. All of that was completely forgotten by Vah at this point in time. Kiara really had changed his life for the better. "Aw, come on. I'm a rogue who's had no real life up until now. How can I possibly be a better mate than anyone else?" Vah chuckled silently and then opened his mouth to say something, but was immediately silenced as he felt the warmth of Kiara's lips on his again, this time, though, the kiss was much more intimate than before. Vah closed his eyes and lay with Kiara, their lips still connected.

Fadhili slowly walked, looking down at the ground as she did. However, Vitani might have not noticed the few pridelanders from a minute ago, but she did notice the way Fadhili looked after that small 'encounter'. "No, I'm fine. Really, nothing serious." she said as she forced a smile and hoped that Vitani would not push her farther with the questions. She was about to tell herself that they now needed to go for hours before finding anything to hunt. That is, if they got lucky, but then she remembered that they were no longer in the outlands and did no longer have to worry about food.

Kiara found herself smiling at what Vah was saying, and after a long moment again pulled away from him a little, "You are one becaue you're who you are." she said as she used her tongue to lick his muzzle, trying to somehow reassure him even if he did sound like he was joking. "I love you for the sweet, fun and caring lion you are." she said, again staring into his eyes with a smile, "And I'm more sure that you'll also be a good father." she smiled at him once more and again kissed him passionately.

Fadhili certainly didn't seem as if she was fine, bur honestly, if it was anything that was relatively important, then Vitani was sure she would tell her. For now, they should just be concerned over where to find something to hunt. Not that it should really be difficult to find anything now that they were in the Pridelands. There was such a contrast between the Pridelands and the Outlands that it was just amazing. Vitani scanned the surroundings for any note of some Deer or Zebra or something else, but she couldn't find anything. Not yet, anyway. She then glanced to the side at Fadhili. "Well, if it's gonna affect the way you act, then you should probably tell me." Vitani stated bluntly, still walking with her friend, trying to find something to hunt.

Vah started to blush as Kiara complimented him, but forced himself not to look away from her. Instead, he started laughing nervously for a few seconds. "Thank you. This is just-I've never been with someone like you since, well, ever." Vah admitted, rather embarrassed when he did say it to Kiara. He was also still blushing from earlier, but what made his mind go absolutely blank was when Kiara mentioned that Vah would also be a good father. He couldn't even begin to comprehend what he had just heard. Was Kiara suggesting that she wanted...cubs? This was a lot for Vah to take in in such a small amount of time, but Vah didn't care at the moment, as he once again pushed his lips against Kiara's, kissing her again.

Fadhili again fell silent and began considering whether she should tell her friend that obviously not important thing or not. She sighed and decided that nothing bad would happen if she did, and maybe it would even make her feel better. "Well... when we were by the waterhole, a few lionesses from the pridelands passed by... It's just..." she let out a sigh as she realised that there was no easy way to explain it. "The way they looked at us... I dunno..." she looked at her friend, "I feel horrible..."

Kiara smiled, "Well, you don't have to worry about being alone ever again." she said, trying to sound reassuring and hoping that she was succeeding in one way or another. But she was sure enough that Vah wouldn't be worrying about that at all. She closed her eyes as they shared another kiss, enjoying every second of it. After a few moments, she again pulled away with a smile, "I could lie here all day..." she said before kissing him once more.

Vitani looked on ahead of her and scanned her surroundings again for any animals to hunt. She sighed irritably when she found nothing wandering about. Wasn't this place supposed to be full of stuff to hunt? Vitani just rolled her eyes as she continued to listen to her friend. At first, she thought it was just unimportant and small worries that Fadhili was telling her about. Vitani's interest was sparked, however, when Fadhili mentioned that she felt terrible about something. Terrible about what? They had just reclaimed the Pridelands, everyone should be feeling great. "You feel horrible? Why?" Vitani asked, obviously quite bemused at her friend's last statement.

Vah smiled and nodded slightly in agreement. He definitely wouldn't have to spend anymore time alone and, to be honest, he was very much glad about that. He didn't say anything and stayed silent, as he didn't really feel as if he needed to say anything. Vah couldn't wait to start his new life with Kiara. In fact, he had already started it, and he was enjoying every single moment of it. After kissing her a couple more times, he replied to Kiara. We could lie here all night, but I think it might get a bit cold overnight." Vah stated in a joking tone, still smiling. "So...do you want keep exploring? Stay here? Or...anything else?" Vah added, not caring what Kiara wanted to do. He would be with her no matter what. That was all that mattered to him.

Fadhili sighed as what she hoped that would not happen happened and Vitani started asking questions. "I just..." she didn't know how she was going to explain it to her in a way she'd understand, if there even was one. "I dunno how to explain this..." she sighed, not noticing that they'd been wandering around for quite a while without finding anything. "I saw the looks on their faces... I dunno... I feel like a monster..." she doubted Vitani would figure out why.

Kiara felt the rate of her heatbeats soar for some reason when she heard Vah say 'anything else'. This was an oppertunity to maybe bring up the entire subject of having a family, but she didn't say anything. She decided that it wasn't right for her to just bring that up, her and Vah being mates for such a short time also made her feel like it wasn't the time to do so. It would be better if she waited for him to feel ready for that instead of rushing him, since she wanted him to be happy as well. And what would make them both happier if not both of them feeling a hundred percent ready for it rather than one hurrying the other? "We could explore a little bit more and get back to the den before it gets too cold." she said with a smile.

Vitani still had a confused expression set on her face as she listened to Fadhili try and explain why she felt bad about, well, something...surely there wasn't anything bad about winning the battle against the Pridelanders? They were just far too weak to resist the Outland onslaught. They had won it fair and square. Now her best friend was feeling bad about it? Honestly, Vitani couldn't figure out why, but she had a rough idea what it was about. "Wait, wait, wait. Hang on a second." Vitani ran ahead of Fadhili and then turned and stood in front of her, wanting her to stop, as well. "You...feel sorry for the Pridelanders? Is that what it is?" Vitani asked her, not in an angry or aggressive way, but in a quizzical, confused way. It wasn't everyday that you saw an Outlander feel any sympathy for the Pridelanders. She had completely forgotten what they had actually set out to do, due to her friend's confusing sympathy to the Pridelanders.

Vah simply lay there in silence and nodded to Kiara mimicking her smile. It was a shame that they needed to actually get up from where they were a the moment. Vah especially felt quite sad and disappointed. He really could've lay there for the rest of the day with Kiara. As Vah reluctantly shuffled away from her and stood up, he looked over his shoulder to see that they weren't in much danger of falling off of the edge of the cliff. He stood patiently and waited for the lioness to stand up. He couldn't help but watch her every move. They all seemed so fluid and generally beautiful that Vah stood there in admiration, simply staring at Kiara's amazing body. It was only after a good few seconds that Vah shook himself from his trance and figured out were to go next. Vah should show her the hunting grounds, even if they weren't going to be hunting.

Fadhili sighed as her good friend didn't show even a slight bit of understanding, again feeling like there wasn't a way for her to actually explain it for her to understand. "Yes." At first they had a chance to stop the fighting without bringing anymore pain upon either the Pridelanders or the Outlancers, but no. They just had to continue fighting and eventually threw all of the suffering on the Pridelanders, who actually offered them to stay despite all the trouble they've caused. It was part of the reason for her guilt. The second part was that she could have spoken up and support Kovu and Kiara, but in her own foolishness she kept her mouth shut. If she had gathered up the courage it required, she might have been able to determine the results of the battle and it would have ended up in a less ugly way.

Kiara sighed as Vah pulled away, feeling kind of dissapointed that their moment ended. However she soon smiled and stood up, and after stretching for a few moments to regain feeling in her legs, she looked at Vah. All the affection caused them to forget that the reason they came there was to explore the place, and Kiara decided that they could go back to having a special moment once they were done with that and were back in the den where they wouldn't freeze to death once the night came. "Where are we going now?" she asked, her tone excited as she hurried over to Vah's side and stood right next to him.
