Dakari of course was not at all expecting that. Upon hearing the cub call Amana 'mommy' his heart sank, not because he had anything against cubs, but because he was actually starting to think that Amana liked him. But she had a cub, and cubs don't fall from the sky. "I..." he didn't know what to say.

Muroki smiled, "Anything for my lady." he said, leaving the den to find them both something to eat.

Mosi only then realized that he hadn't seen Basha since the morning. "Where is she? I haven't seen her today."

Amana could see that Dakari was confused "go and play Olly" she told the cub, he did as his mother told him and ran outside and started pouncing at nothing, Amana padded over and sat infront of Dakari "his father was a rouge, he left as quick as I had met him, I haven't seen him since the night Olly was born" she told him "my family don't know about Olly, I have only been back for a few days and haven't found the right time to tell anyone, and I brought you here because I had to tell someone, and also because I like you and don't want to end up really liking you and then you don't want to know me when yo find out about Olly, that's why I would rather you knew straight away" she continued, she looked out to the small cub who played outside "he is so small and helpless, but I don't think my father will accept him" she told Dakari

"She is out with Muroki" Almasi told her mate with a smile as she helped him take Amana and Fadhili's kill from his back.

Dakari didn't know what to say. When he thought about it, finding out now really was better than getting to know Amana and then realizing that she has a cub all of a sudden. "Look, Amana... I really like you too... I've met countless amounts of lionesses, whether they were rogues or part of a pride and none of them made me feel the way I feel around you." he sighed, "I don't know... What if he's father shows up all of a sudden, or something else?"

Mosi smiled as his mate help him carry the kill inside. He decided that he should be telling her about the rogue that would be staying with them for now. "We have a new pride member." he said, "He's around Fumo's age, Amana insisted to show him around."

Amana laughed at the thought of Olly's dad appearing "he would be chased from the pridelands, he isn't welcome here, me and Olly don't want anything more to do with him" she told the male "I like you and nothing will change that, even if you didn't want anything to happen with me because I have Olly" she really did like this lion and she didn't know why, she hardly knew him but there was somthing about him she really liked "look if you don't like me anymore because I have a cub I understand, I won't hold it against you" she reasured him

Almasi chuckled lightly "love is in the air tonight" she said with yet another light chuckle

Dakari wasn't sure whether to believe what Amana was saying about Olly's father at first, but something about her made him feel like she was telling the truth. "You know what?" he started with a sigh, "The past belongs to the past." he smiled at her, "I think I can live with it."

Mosi was quiet for a moment, "Wow, I feel stupid for not figuring that out on my own."

After a while Muroki returned to the den he was sharing with Basha earlier carrying a kill on his back. "Lunch for two." he said, walking over and placing his kill down in front of the lioness before smiling at her.

Amana was overjoyed with Dakari's reply, she nuzzled him and licked his cheek, now I have a favour to ask of you" she told him

Almasi laughed "your a male, you lot never notice these things" she told her mate

Basha was plesently surprised at how quickly Muroki returned with his kill, she nuzzled him "looks good" she told him before sinking her fangs into the kill

Dakari's heart began racing when Amana nuzzled and licked him. "What is it?" he asked, looking into her eyes.

Mosi chuckled, "I guess you're right." he knew that she was right.

Muroki grinned when Basha nuzzled him, "Well, for you I try." he said, nuzzling her back before joining her and eating as well.

Amana started shakeing with nerves as she knew what she was about to ask him was a lot to ask of someone she had only just met "I want to take Olly to meet my family, they know that when I ran away I was with a male but that's all they know, they don't know anything else about him, would you say thay it was you and that Olly is yous son, at least then that way my father will be more accepting of Olly if he thinks his father is still around" she asked, she then quickly glanced over to Olly, not wanting to look at Dakari, scared of what his reply will be.

Dakari jaw almost dropped at what Amana was now asking him to do. "Amana, I... I don't know what to say..." he truly was speechless. "Don't you think it will be best to tell your father the truth? It is his grandson after all... I'll really feel uncomfortable about lying to him..." the entire family would start asking questions like why they've never met him, why did they have a cub so early without considering it and where Dakari was until now. They might even end up getting angry at him.

Amana quickly answered him, she understood why he was reluctent to do it " my father would never except a cub with no father, he would kill him, while I was away I told my father I had met someone and was going to live with him, but as soon as I had Olly his father left, he didn't want a cub and so I was forced to come back" she explained
