Simba was disappointed. "No, not Zazu!" he protested. He and Nala were soon on the path to the waterhole, Zazu flying overhead. "Step lively. The sooner we get to the waterhole, the sooner we can leave," the bird stated.

Zira frowned as she watched the two cubs from behind a rock. They had Zazu with them, and therefore couldn't be headed to somewhere unsafe, yet she could tell just by looking at Simba that he was up to something. As much as she admired Scar and looked up to him, she wouldn't let Simba get killed by the hyenas. She had to make sure he was safe..

Mufasa watched as the cubs padded down the pathway to the waterhole, he had a feeling they were up to mischief so he hung around the bottom of Pride Rock, just in case.

Simba looked at Nala. "We're on our way," he told her, whispering so that Zazu wouldn't hear him.

Zazu looked down at the cubs. They seemed to be talking, but since the hornbill heard nothing, he figured they were whispering to each other. Simba looked up for a brief moment, and then looked back at Nala. "We're going to an elephant graveyard," he whispered to her.

"Wow!" The cub exclaimed, her eyebrows shooting up. She had no idea they were headed to such a cool place, and the fact that she had never heard of it before. Now she understood why her best friend had been so secretive earlier, if you were headed to an Elephant Graveyard, you wouldn't want your parents to find out. But what about Zazu? Nala knew it would be tought to get rid of the Majordomo, but she knew Simba had something up his paw, he always came up with the best plans when the situation called for it.

"Shhh, Zazu!" Simba answered.

Zazu looked down at the cubs. He wondered what they were truly talking about. Back on the ground, Simba was beginning to think of ways to get rid of the bird. He gave Nala a look to let her know this.

Mufasa sighed and strolled over to Sarabi, "When do you think the cubs will be back", "I feel I've let Simba down today, me going off to deal with hyena's after I promised to spend my day with him". Sarabi looked up at Mufasa in a loving way.

Simba was about to answer Nala when Zazu suddenly swooped down in front of them. He seemed pleased. "Oh, just look at you two. Little seeds of romance blossoming in the savannah. Your parents will be thrilled, what with your being betrothed and all," the hornbill said. Simba looked at him with a questioning expression. "Be-what?" the king's son asked. "Betrothed. Intended. Affianced," Zazu replied.
