[I remember talking to you about the pride being invaded by the three males and yadda yadda and you said "No more cubs for Adofo" and you also said "no more adoptions." And he's had a few more litters now and planning on having another, and he's adopting more.]

"No, thank you," Gonai said calmly. "We can take care of ourselves."

[Adofo]

(Oh yeah. But I never said he couldn't try. and THIS will be his last litter. I wanted one more for a very special reason! I won't tell YET but......it'll be an action story!)

Adofo: Are you sure?! I mean....you're such good friends with Yajing! You sure you don't want her as your little sister?

[Iri]

[Yeah. He's said that "this litter will be the last" about four or five times now.]

Gonai looked at Xerai. "What do you think, Xerai?"
"I don't really think it's necessary," Xerai said. "I don't want to put an extra burden on his shoulders."

[Adofo]

(Well now I say it is! No fingers crossed! The only way they'll have more is if she wants more. It came to me in a dream last night!)

Adofo: I promise you, it's no burden!

[Iri]

"I personally think we can cope," Gonai said. "Thanks, but no thanks." She turned and walked away.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay! But if you ever change your mind! We're always here! So honey.....when do you think is the best time for......you know.

[Iri]

"In a few months," Yekize said.
About four months later...

[Adofo]

The young cubs were getting pretty big. They were wondering if they were ever going to get more siblings.

[Iri]

"Do you think it's time?" Yekize asked.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Only if you're ready! And honey.......I think after this litter.....I'll be happy! I guess I wanted to know that......you let me make decisions.....but only if they're yours too! .......that's stupid! I'm not good explaining this! What I'm trying to say it that......if YOU ever want more cubs.....I'm ready any time! But......if we don't have anymore........I can be happy with it!
