Adeola looked over to where her grandson had run off to and saw him run over to his old childhood friend. Wonder how this will play out for the boy, she thought, keeping her eyes on him.

Ekwu started, "Uh Marjani uh I wanted to talk to you about your mother. You see I am sorry about what happened. I uh wanted to ask you if uh..."

Marjani looked curious at what he was saying. When she heard her mother she was getting a little mad at him until he said the last sentence which was when she said, "NO!" She walked away knowing that she had to play hard to get to be acceptable for a lion of his caliber.

@VitanisMate: "Classic" Adeola said under her breath, shaking her head at the lioness's tactics and how she was going to lure the male back in once more. Though she liked Marjani and thought she was a nice girl, she wondered what Lesedi's motives were towards her grandson.

Ekwu came back looking worse than ever. "Well Grandma I am sure you saw our little struggle. You see I told you she hates me." He looked away.

Marjani went to the pool again and looked at her reflection. Not worthy for loving a future leader of these lions. She sighed and wondered if she really did love Ekwu.

@VitanisMate: "In case you haven't noticed and I'm sure you didn't, she doesn't hate you" she told her grandson. She gave him a long look and bit her lip hoping he would get it.

Grunge closed his eyes and flexed his paws a little, pretending not to notice the others and hoping not to attract any unwanted attention. Being touched by Adeola's siblings was quite awkward for him, as Outlander adults were used to no physical contact whatsoever outside of with one's mate or during a fight. In casual activities, physical contact was out of the question.

Ekwu looked at her quizzically obviously not noticing. "She said, 'NO!' did she not? I mean that seems pretty obvious to me. You know what just forget it. I will just go to the other lioness and see if she wants to play." He smiled. "I am sure she is an expert at it actually." He laughed knowing pretty sure that his grandma would understand. He started to move over there but wanted to see what Adeola would say.

Marjani saw him smile and thought he knew she was playing hard to get. She decided she needed to be more forceful with her answers and to act more real than w\how she acted before. Ekwu I...don't know if I love you. I mean if I did I would just say yes right?

@VitanisMate: She watched him walk away before she looked at Neobi, "I miss the days where he didn't have a clue about what flirting was". Neobi cocked his head but smirked at her remark.

@SnowyCheetah: Malaika snuck over Grunge and poked at her sister, Adeola replying with a low growl and rolling over onto her side to use her own paws to swat her sister away. Malaika wasn't getting the message as she completely sat on her sister with a giggle and Adeola just layed there, used to it.

Ekwu came over to the lioness by the pool. "Well Lesedi uh I decided to take you up on your offer." He smiled nervously obviously not knowing what was going to happen since he was young. He put his paw out on the water obviously scared of the water like most big cats. "Uh on second thought I will just stay right here okay?" He looked at her trying to imitate a seductive glance.

Marjani knew she had not heard from Ekwu in a while and decided that she wanted to see him. She felt a feeling of joy in her stomach like she could leap to the moon. She felt as if she could not stand not seeing Ekwu. "What a dork." She laughed at that.

@VitanisMate: "Suit yourself" she replied with a smile as she padded slowly into the water. It felt great on her fur from the hot sun crashing down on her and she was making good use of the slender body she was given along with the water. The lioness reared up and let her head go back and came back down looking over at Ekwu with a stare that she had perfected over the years of adulthood. "You sure you don't want to come in? You're missing out" she let her tail slide across the top of it with her usual seductive glance kicked up a notch.
